Sometimes it's good to see the bad & stormy times of a making film. It shows us that not everything goes as plan but U have to push on. I myself haven't given up trying to get my film made and I won't until finally I make it. Even if I live to be 100 & finally get 1 just 1 film done well then so be it. Even if that storm is washing away your dreams, just remember it can't rain all the time. When U make it you will appreciate how U got it made by watching the Videos of the struggles U made.

Why antagonize yourself trying to get these investors to invest? You obviously have the talent. You obviously have spent time posting on this page .... then why not downsize your story (or write another one) and fund it yourself!

Start small. Once you have a short 5 or 10 minute version of your film to show them, things should be different.

"The Economy" is always a safe fallback these days. There's money out there, but I think it comes down to straight talking and ditch time-wasters. Do you have any provisional interest from voice talent? Check out actors who've just become parents for the first time - maybe they want to make something the kids can watch. Prosaic advice, but hopefully practical. At least you're not trying to do this in the UK. You'd have jumped under a bus by now!! Good luck.
