@eNerdStudios Thank you very much! The main theme at the beginning of the credits starts on F; it's in the key of Bb. :) The recordings for the original series were in some other key, though...
OK... I say OMG... I mean: OMG! Once again, my most and best congratulations! Like we say here back in Spain: Olé, olé y olé! And Bravísimo! That was surely enjoyable! :)
@zzzzzzzzzzaaaaapp Thanks! It took...I dunno, a few weeks, maybe? It took longer than some of my other arrangements, simply because it's a long piece. Required a lot of playing and re-playing each passage to memorize the structure of the whole thing. But it was worth it! =D
@CarmanMan12 That's an F major chord, but all the notes of the main theme and the Alexander Courage fanfare make it sound more complicated than that. =P
Thanks! This goes through a lot of key signatures, honestly...the three main statements of Alexander Courage's original theme are in Bb, some of Spock's theme is in Eb minor, Nero's theme is in E minor, and a lot of the stuff at the end is in D minor. Some parts don't have a particularly well-defined tonal center.
I would very much like this piece, beautifully done by ear! I have made some attempts myself, but failed... I love Star Trek, and especially those harmonic songs they have, and many band, choir, and orchestra people joined to play and sing in unision to make these really good songs. You have managed to smash it all down to one piano and make it just as good!
I love the Star Trek theme by Courage, such an iconic piece, beautiful melody, beautiful harmonies, beatutiful everything really! Well done man, you made me feel good :)
Thanks! =D Unfortunately, I don't have a way of shooting video right now. Well, that's not entirely true - I have a webcam, but when I shoot myself playing, my hands just end up looking like a blur and the sound is terrible. Someday, man, someday! :)

That was incredible!
I really enjoyed Muchael Giachino Score for Star Trek.
You have seriously captured the feeling and tone of his work, and made it fresh with this arrangement!
