@Kavar44 I just used flat AP seals, quints and glyphs, and naturally flat armor pen marks for the better effect. I must've used 21/0/9 with increased ghost/ignite this game, not sure though, but most likely.
@alexilaiho1st It's not that bad of a choice. Naturally, no gain on your ultimate, but you only use that once every minute, so building some Armor Pen works great with his Q, W and E.
i just think straight cho which is what your obviously building is not viable. If you going to play cho at least go tanky/ap. Your good at playing him but there are other champions made to be ap aoe with more dmg and shorter cooldowns then cho. I main chogath when our team is in need of a tank and have carried many games while being about as tanky as you can be.

Continued: that being said. We have almost identical playstyles. Going in the solo lane using rupture to harass and last hit at the same time. With a heavy emphasise on farming like a pro not just auto attacking the minions, but Item wise we couldn't be more different. My ap item is Rod of ages (which i build first as catalyst is great for early presence) boots of swiftness, Banshees, Force of nature, Thornmail, Rabadon's deathcap. Magic pen just seems useless with your ult being the main killer
I've never understood ignite with cho. Pop up, slow, silence, spike, spike, feast, whats there to keep them alive seeing as feast deals true damage. I get boots one health pot 2 mana pots, flash and ghost. Play as AP/tank and still get alot of kills. that being said straight mage cho absolutely wrecks in team fights with all his aoe.
