@bulldude8796 maybe switching to a 3'' dinger....smaller soft plastics.....accually got a nice 6lber last week on a bluegill crankbait....and I can cast across the pond I was fishing
@bulldude8796 What kind of fish are in it? If bass and sunfish at my ponds for the big Bass pond I use the YUM dinger wacky riged, for the small sunfish pond I use Corn, Bread, Powerbait, Nightcrawlers, and some lures.
@countryboycutlery Try just putting salt in the bag and just shaking it, I have been trying it and it actually works. BTW give it scents by adding a little lime juice.
Hey there CountryBoy, nice collection of plastics. I was wondering i just bought a bag of those Dinger's that you said you have alot of luck with and i bought a bag of 5in Dinger's Black and blue flake. I was wondering if those would work good if semi clear water (i live in Ohio) and if i should experiment with them by cutting one of them down to 3in and seeing if that would catch bass better? But nice video and would like a response thanks.
@AmericanRifleMan1997 sure man Ive been fishing the 4'' alot lately too and the kinda cull the dinks out some....but for sure experment with them......Ive grown quite fond of the "Mardi Gras" color as well1
@MrFlyingmonkeycrap I agree they do work but are wayyyyyyyyyyy over priced and do not hold up when u use them.....EXP. I can use my Yum Dingers and catch 6 to 8 fish off 1 and the Yamamotos fall apart after 2 fish...they fail!

@thebassfisher911 Thanks everyone for the kind words as soon as I get time I have some new products and rigs to show everyone.......CATCH MORE FISH :)
What's your favorite colors for plastics? I mean, the color that you've had the most success on? When I started, I leaned more towards the brighter colors, but I've actually had more success on the darker ones.
hey man long time since we have talked!! but we are starting to stock up our gear for the summer so we are looking around to see what all our friends use and mashing together what we think is the best! anyways great vid!
i use the gary yamamoto senkos 5" in motor oil color great olmost a garantied catch, their i budget buster though, pretty darn ecpensive, i bout the yum dingers to give them a try and i still havent couldt anything they dont seem that good to me what do you think?
im using the 5 inch yamamotos in motoroil, but the dingers im using also 5 inch and watermelon /red flk, they look like a bass catching worm but i havent had any luck yet, also im in tarpon springs florda fishing mostly on lake tarpan and in seminole area, thanks
up here i usually use a dinger in watermelon........also a new color called ozark smoke.......also green pumpkin purple too
I Texas rig fish them as well......but ill tell u a trick.......dont use them worm weights when Texas rigging them they are to heavy i found out.......try a small bullhead sinker right above the dinger or a small splitshot works just as good....i found out the slower the fall the better the results man
hay im jake i use the 5in dinger all the time i use greys when i run out but every time i put on a dinger i get a 3 or 4 pound bass no kidding try the 5 inch in watermelen or black
If I only had $15-30 to spend, what lures or soft baits would you guys suggest for purchase? I'm going for mostly bass and panfish. Anything that can catch multiple species actually. Any help?
I agree 3'' dingers would work well man with a texas rig 1/0 hook and a small split shot next 2 the ding.......I also throw alot of cranks I am turning on to Kopper's Live Target cranks they are awesome
Actually, here in Indiana, you can buy the regular flukes, as well as the super flukes at Wal-Mart. My favorite is the watermellon seed. The bass just tear it up....Great video
We don't have bass in newfoundland, so I've never tried soft baits. do you have any success using these on trout? in particular the helgramites? I use a fly pattern, I tie it myself, that represents a helgramite and it works in the wintertime when fish are on bottom. Great video, going to watch part 2 now!! cheers, ED
Thanks Ed I have some soft plastics that work great on trout.....Like in my newwest fishing vid with the wild brown I am using a crappie jig(a tube jig) they are deadly on trout I do the best with white pearl color......I have also did good on heligmites and tiny black crayfish I have some they will really fool them wild trout and draw them out from hiding..
Great stuff man, i also love using those Dingers, i like to use the 5" dingers for the bass, i even caught a 30" pike up here this past summer, great baits. Take a look at my soft plastics video and share some other colors i should try out this upcoming summer. Great video 5/5!
