"Behind the Music": I wrote this song as I thought more and more about my own short-sighted/fast-paced/shallow involvement in social media and the "relationships" ("FB Friends", "Followers", etc.) that I kept a count of. I started questioning how many of the people I said, "Hello" to would actually be around when it's time to say, "Goodbye" for the last time. I realize the irony of posting a song critiquing social media on social media sites. I value them but also realize their limitations.
Lyrics: Verse 1 Countless introductions, rehearsed reproductions "Hello, I'm so-and-so. How are you?" and so it goes On without end, neither enemies nor friends Chorus Maybe we were made for more than introductions Maybe we were meant to feel the repercussions Of every single crash at every intersection of our lives Yeah, maybe we were made to say, "Goodbye"
Thanks to my friend, Jared Jensen, for producing this vid :-)

Lyrics:
Verse 2
We add up our collections of friendly deceptions
We reside in our own spaces, electric words and wired faces
Staring us downwhen did silence become so loud
Bridge
This invisibility is nothing more than make-believe
This charade will fade away, till only what is real remains
So let's say, "Goodbye" to "Hello" and exchange Green for Yellow
And slow down...yeah, let's stick around
