  • this video <3

  • words can't express how i feel right now. Jesus is amazing, God is merciful, He is love.

I've always loved this song and it hit me hard when i heard it the first time. but it wasn't until now, that Jesus hit me even harder. I don't even know how i feel right now. I love You God, I love You Jesus, I love You Holy Spirit.

  • I love you jesus ♥♥♥♥

  • God is grace.

  • This is absolutely astonishing. Brilliant, and we can all gather here, its like a push of strength, for anyone. I'm glad there is a large group of believers somewhere, seems like with life we lose sight of the big picture, but here it is. In rock music, its, epic.

  • YES HE IS :D OUR GODD

  • this song gets me every time

  • yeahh too it!! i do... i worship you God... Thanks for giving your live for me Jesus i love you........ LOVE UUUUU!!!

  • I LOVE YOU JESUS ! , YOU ARE MY ONLY HERO !!

  • (And please pardon my use of definitions again. I'm sorry if that offends you. Simply I believe that whoever has put together those definitions has a lot better idea of what a term means and how we use it than I do, so I use them. My apologies if it bothers you that I went against your direct command.)

  • wow. you did an amazing job with this project. I love how you cut to the woman representing Mary Magdalene right at the words "no alabaster jar," and 1:37.... wow. just wow. one of my favorite songs of all time... this just phenomenal.

  • JESUS the most holy man to ever walk the earth has died on the cross for our sins!!!!!!!!! he thiey JESUS loves us all he died for us and I respect that........ he thiey JESUS knew judas was going to betray him so he can die . if judas didnt betray JESUS CHRIST for money someone would... judas only cares about money and he knew JESUS was on a high price so he knew this was or is his only oppuritunity to become rich!! and I disrespect that judas betrayed holy son of our father god JESUS CHRIST!!!

  • I think the point of the song is how we were all like Judas. How all of us have sold God out for the love of the world. How we are all guilty. How we have all betrayed.

  • T_T its almost like i can smell the blood

  • thanks for making this video

  • I cant stop crying u.u

  • me gusta la voz y el sonido me encanta

  • Religion's sucks ! Song is so good !

  • @Klapypy christianity ain't a religion bro its a relationship with God

  • @dallasmvrk13 Religion:a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

    Sounds like Christianity to me.

  • @RagingCerberus well meanin of religion and its 'set of beliefs' are only determined by culture in context with what you said then yes because you see it as 'moral code' to 'govern the conduct of human affairs' when really all jesus said was 'love me with all your heart and love your neighbor' all the rest stems from this. the christian 'beliefs' are just a guideline to help us devotional = spending time with god rituals like mass are simply to remember we do that in relationships too no?

  • @dallasmvrk13 However, 'relationship' is one of the vaguest terms in the English language. I have a relationship with the guy at the grocery store where I give him money and he gives me food. Religion actually describes what Christianity is, and all this garbage about 'It's not a religion, it's a relationship' will only serve to confuse those who aren't fluent in Christian-ish. If someone looks at Christianity from the outside they call it a religion, so why do we run from the term?

  • @RagingCerberus The relationship that I have with Jesus is more real than the relationship that I have with anyone. It is not vague at all. It is not a religion for me at all. I ACTUALLY THINK that if you go back in time, that the events of the bible actually took place in real physical space and time. Is it my religion that I believe that I went to the store yesterday? What makes it religion? Because more than 2000 years transpired since the events of the bible happened?

  • @MPaulHolmes Look up the definition of religion, buddy. It's a series of believes traditionally pertaining to a moral code and involving some form of deity. That is a specific term. It has a meaning specific enough that when anyone who speaks English hears it they have a clear picture about what you're talking about. Relationship is not nearly so clear. Is Christianity a relationship? Yes, but so is Islam. Lets stop this confusing Christianese and actually use our language properly.

  • @RagingCerberus Tell me to go get an endoscopy, and I'll look it up. Tell me I have a religion, and I know exactly what the word means, and I can say that I don't. Dictionaries attempt to reflect the meaning of words in the minds of people. That's why they have to update dictionaries all the time. Language evolves. Religion in my mind evokes lists of rules, people in ridiculous hats, lots of smoking candles, people blowing stuff up, blind faith, etc... You don't have a relationship w/ god.

  • @MPaulHolmes I don't have a relationship with God because I use the term Religion instead of relationship to talk about Christianity? Wow. Real mature, dude.

  • @RagingCerberus So, you do have a relationship with God?

  • @MPaulHolmes Relationship: The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.

By that definition, within the religion of Christianity, I do. But, like I said before, relationship is an incredibly vague term, and every religion believes in some relationship or another between the god(s) and man. To say Christianity isn't a religion, which if you look up the definition it obviously is, and replace it with "relationship" only confuses.

  • @RagingCerberus That's not what I mean by relationship at all. And you can quit parroting a dictionary. As I said before, words mean what we think (as a population) and dictionaries attempt to reflect that which is in our minds.

By your parroted definition, there is a way that 2 rocks (objects) interact by bouncing off each other when you bang them together. There is a relationship between them. If you have such a hard time understanding relationship in the context of 2 people, then...

  • @RagingCerberus let's use a different set of words. Christianity is an irrelevant word. I have a relationship with the real life person of Jesus. I have a very close intimate friendship with the person Jesus. There is a real live person that I know. He wants me to live a particular way. Religion is a completely inappropriate word for this relationship that I have. To attempt to dismiss it all as religion grossly misrepresents the situation.

  • @MPaulHolmes You see, this is where I find fault with the term relationship. I do have a relationship with Christ, but in a different sense. It is my greatest goal to reach heaven, not expecting Christ to say, "Nice job, buddy," but hoping that He will say, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

I don't expect Christ to be my buddy. I expect Him to be my master. The Bible often refers to our relationship with God as a servant with his master ("No servant can serve two masters")...

  • @MPaulHolmes So I don't use a vague term like Relationship because your perceived relationship with Christ and my perceived relationship with Christ both fall under that definition. Like you said, by popular (Or parroted, if we must) definition there is a relationship between two rocks.

I avoid that because that doesn't describe my faith clearly enough.

However, "The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods," does get the image across clearly.

  • @RagingCerberus I agree! Grrr... Um, I'm not sure what else to say. haha.

  • @RagingCerberus So you aren't exactly the person to explain any of this to me.

  • @dallasmvrk13 Yes... its just a relationship whit God..

I live in Dallas Tx too, bro,God Bless you

  • @SexoYLocurA thank you you too! but i don't live in texas i wish i did though...merely a HUGE maverick and cowboys fan with lots of texan friends

  • So that's Showbread? I don't know them much, but there's no way I could ever miss Reese Roper's voice; he's the one singing the second half of the song. Was he a guest singer on this song?

  • This really does show what God did for us and is doing for us, He is risen and is making a stream in the wasteland and a way through the desert.

  • Hey There ant1parker1,

No offense is intended by this comment but at least our God had the guts to be nailed to a cross and suffer tremendously for His people (proven by science), YOUR god heard that his enemy was coming and immediately killed himself! I know which God I would rather follow and it ISNT the coward who wasnt able to face his enemies!

I am curious ,WHY if you don't believe in God do you watch a video that is so ovbiously about God!Just to be nasty or secretly searching?

    GOD

    ROCKS

  • I couldn't agree more!

    PEACE

  • @DelsforGod71 i don't remember learning of God being nailed to anything because He has not any physical embodiment...

i remember learning about Jesus the Christ being sacrificed... he was a great guy... :) Jesus = my hero

  • Lonelydrumer,

The Bible states very clearly in many places that Jesus is God,Isaiah 9:6,Daniel 7:13-14!Jesus Himself said 'I am' in John 8:58-59 and In John 10:30-33 Jesus says 'The Father and I are one'. Paul says in Colossians 1:15 'He is (referring to Christ) the image of the invisible God'!

    GOD

    ROCKS

  • aye, so through Christ, God became man... but the Bible is less of a literal book for me, and more of an interpretational thing... everytime I read it, it yeilds something new and different.

  • ahh, crap i spelt yields wrong... well

  • YESSS

  • The actor who played Judas in The Passion of the Christ, also played Matthias in Saint Peter... I think it's God's work...

  • @rafaelromania remember how they were talking bout how weird it was with jim cavizel playing Jesus in this movie.. that man went through so much during the making of it. The weird things they mentioned were how his initials were JC [who is he playing? lol]... his age 33 1/2 [Jesus was the same age when he died]. Jim's shoulder bone was disconnected like Jesus's was. God wanted him to continue to make it though.

  • @rafaelromania they have a movie about St. Peter? When did it come out? I might buy it

  • @fillycheese92 It came out in 2005. Omar Sharif is in the role of St Peter and Johannes Brandrup in that of Jesus. I love that movie... Deserves to be seen!

  • @rafaelromania Thank you!

  • mi canción favorita de showbread

  • @superknuto mi canción favorita es "the fear of God." Usted debe mirarlo.

  • Yeshua is KING

  • jesus you are god

  • @SPAINole3 ... Jesus doesnt like ppl calling him God, as he told ppl to pray to "God" only in the bible and not to him, im not a christian but ive read that

  • @SPAINole3 No. Technically, he was the son of God.

Good luck in the world, though!

  • @SPAINole3 No. Technically, he was the son of God.

  • @akselbll Trinity. While yes he is the son of god, he's also the father and the holy spirit.

  • one of the most powerful written songs.

  • i know let me tell you between this movie and this song... thank you bigdaddyjk thank you thanks for making this video thank you very much this was very powerful i i had this idea i wouldn't be able to finish it thank you danke schon Velien Danke

  • crap. this made me cry. which i really didn't expect.

  • Yes Judas is a heavy subject. The Gospels don't even seem to agree on how he killed himself, much less what happened to him afterward.

Again, do your own research and follow what you feel... too many churches and too many Christians lead people astray by mindlessly spouting the same old stale ideas. I've attended some lame churches in my day and they've made me just about give up following.

  • What happened was he hung himself(Matt 27:5) then the bacteria in his stomach grew until he burst(Acts 1:18) causing Peter believe he fell to his death.

  • Its not a verse. Its a verse in the song. Sorry i didnt clarify that in my last post

  • I don't know. Judas is a weird subject. Yes, he did those things but like it says, "yet in your arms and in your heart forever i have stayed." Jesus knew his faith was weak and just like He did for you, He forgave you.

  • What verse is that?

  • so the song says "by me you were abandoned, by me you were betrayed, yet in your arms and in your heart forever I have stayed" right? so does that mean that judas still went to heaven? I dont think he did but i wanna hear what other people have to say.

  • Of course I can't speak for Reese, but I've always figured Reese is singing this to Jesus, and Judas has nothing to do with the song other than being in the title for some reason. Their song titles and album titles always seem to be random words thrown together to seem deep and insightful, but maybe I'm just being cynical.

I would imagine Judas went to heaven. I mean, I know different people interpret the Testaments differently, but "all is forgiven" is pretty cut and dried.

  • I think the title refers to our new nature in Christ replacing our old sinful nature. Judas was dead in sin, and eventually killed himself, so the apostles chose to name another man to replace Judas. I believe this is a metaphor for our spiritual change when we accept Christ.

As for Judas, he would go to heaven if he truly accepted Christ as his savior. However, there is really no evidence he ever did; he never showed signs of ever being sanctified, based on what the gospels tell us about him.

  • From what I've read online, the Catholic church has never made an official proclamation on whether Judas was saved or damned... it seems this is a subject of huge debate.

Discussion brings up the question whether Judas was acting on his own free will or not. That's a very, very important question to answer.

Do you really think Jesus wouldn't forgive Judas? I think He would, personally.

Do your own research and follow what you feel. Too many churches fail to ask these questions.

  • "but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."-Mark 14:21

  • Ok i have i question thats been bugging me if anyone can answer it. Even tho Judas knew he was going to betray Jesus. Lets say Judas wouldn't of have betrayed Jesus, would he still have to die?

  • Yes if you believe the Old and New Testaments, Jesus' death and resurrection were the plan all along, spanning countless years. Christianity wouldn't exist without Jesus dying at some point. Rejoice in his death... he carried the sins of all mankind from the beginning of time until the end of time, all on his back at once while nailed to a cross.

If Judas didn't betray him, then someone else would have... it was God's divine plan all along.

  • Jesus didn't die because Judas betrayed him. Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sin. The bible says the wages of sin is death. Jesus loved you and me and took the cost of sin (the 3 hours of darkness) in our place...All we have to do is accept this free gift and we go to heaven. The bible says the Lord gave up the ghost. No one killed the Lord Jesus he freely gave his life. for you and for me.

  • AMEN! This guy knows what he is talking about!

  • @sonofemeth This song is about Man's dependence on God's grace, not about blaming judas, just listen to the symbolisms, "i lay in this field by Judas' bowels and anticipate the plow "Judas killed himself in the field of blood and his body stayed there. This line says "I've betrayed Christ, I am now awaiting judgement (the plow) like Judas. This song saying I'm nothing special, yet you died for me. How exactly is something as poor and weak as my heart good enough reason for your death?

  • @sonofemeth more than three hours of darkness, spent three days in hell as well facing all the judgement that is meant for us

  • @sonofemeth Amen! :D

  • like the vid a lot and the melody is awesome!!great job!!

  • sry that message was meant for countfibonaccifora this video is amazing good job! keep living for christ.

  • dude ur amazing i love that song and the vid is just amazingly put together

  • this reduces me to tears every time. "by me you were abandoned, by me you were betrayed, yet in your arms and in your heart forever I have stayed."

  • this song has incredible imagery. i think the song in a sense and some part is judas' regrets and thoughts. even while judas is going to betray jesus -and jesus is fully aware- he still "washes his feet" and one of the last lines "in your heart forever i have stayed" jesus still loved judas. damn

  • dude you had a good message there then you just ruined it.

  • I second that...

  • Someone needs to make a fanmade video for the Showbread song The Beginning from Nervosa.
