Just so no one gets the wrong idea, I googled who wrote Bridge across forever, and found that the "Prince" that is credited as co-writer of the song is actually a friend of Neal's named Celeste Prince. Not the "Purple Rain"-Prince.

In my opinion ( ...and Mr. Portnoy's) Neal Morse is one of the best song writers sine John Lennon...check out early Spocks Beard or Mr. Morses solo albums...with Mike Portnoy on drums...pure class... i go to my own personel heaven whenever i hear his music.

"Prince" is a female singer Neal has worked with long before the release of the album. But he lost her trace and she never gave news to him though he tried to contact her.

That doesn't explain the Dance with the Devil thing. Both Prince and Neal Morse have made a song with this title with lyrics like "dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight" (old lyrics of Duel with the devil).
