I don't kow. Yes the Carter kick was awesome, but kicking from the other side of the field is alot easier with that foot. Look at the way Thurston kicks along the posts where as Carter can kick outside and curving in with the help of the wind.
@dgralow... maybe you need to watch the carter conversion again... he does kick from his unpreferred side, however hits it with the outside of his boot and therefore curving it back in
This is State of Origin Game 1 2006, there wasn't 30 seconds left this kick was taken in the 77th 78th minute.. giving time for the blues to take the shot at field goal which they slotted over, 17-16.
