The first part of the level in question is very YCZ style as well, don't know that it was stolen also or perhaps the hack is a loveletter to his style. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

I know mariocool1999 thought it was an amazing idea, but plagiarizing it with what I think with no permission is totally wrong. When you create a SMW hack you can't just copy someone else because you'll only be limited to what they can think of. You must use your own mind and see what you see. Create something out of the ordinary.
Was the original designer contacted and asked if mariocool asked to copy it? He could have granted permission. But I guess it shouldn't have been done any way for something like a contest.
@Yillb yoshicookiezeus, the creator of the original level, called plagiarism first himself in the comments, in the vid that this one replies to. So he definitely didn't give permission. @_@

Stealing is stealing, and the day we don't "make such a big deal over it", is the day we become too apathetic for any sort of justice or honor.
