i guess that's what i was thinking. for that song the rhythm guitar (in open G) should be clean with a little bit of dirt and the lead guitar (in standard) tuning a little dirtier. Also, all the distortion makes things sound smaller. just my two cents...

think you have enough distortion on the rhythm guitar? Also, the rhythm guitar should be tuned to open G.

all the distortion is on the lead guitar (white guitar) and is tuned to G - the rhythm (on left)is fairly clean and is tuned standard -
