Is it just me, or does it seem like there's some kind of stabilisation used...? If this was handheld I'd expect some bad jittering while going down the steps... This vid somehow looks too smooth to be truly handlheld, lol. Anyone has any ideas?
Thanks for posting this, but beware that Youtube's conversion and compression screws up the video and audio quite a bit. This will not show the true capability - not even HQ mode.
Of course its possible to get shallow dof, its a DSLR. Put an FA 50mm f1.4 or some other suitably shallow lens on. This was likely shot with the kit WR lens which does not have a small enough aperture to show up on a you tube quality video.
Nice video... Shooting with something around 10, 12mm lense? Wide angle video... I like it!

The K-7 has built-in image stabilization that also works when shooting video.

Nice colors - still some jello.
A bunch of questions -
What aperature is this? Is it possible to get a very shallow DOF?
How is the video in low-light (high ISO)?
Were those flashes/stutters while it was taking pictures, or unrelated?
Thanks for posting.
