  • dont mess with mother russia

thats what i learned by seeing this

  • I particularly liked the counter to the standing guillotine; however, can't such a counter be prevented if the attacker puts his leg through the defenders, and lowers his center of mass?

  • this i can get a edge on ground fighting, i love it ; thanks

  • BJJ EVER

  • 0:47 ... why is the blue guy pulling the red guys cock?

  • I learned about this style reading Kenichi

  • lol this is not combat sambo

  • Now I remember why I respect Russians!

  • no striking...and it plays a big part in sambo

  • blue mary ! ;)

  • what's the move at 0:47 ?

    calf crush?

  • learn from Sergei dragunov!

  • this would make a good alarm for the moring ima do it!!! :D

  • this is the best ordinary self defense!! that the only thing u need to know!! not box or karate or wat ever!! simply effective!!

  • this is russian love!

  • best 1 on 1 combat style,no slapping no dancing around, just grab push break bye...

  • @coleric3 not the best but one of the best styles.. what about musado and krav-maga, dude?? :)

  • @Krupiercinaherna Ty for the update on musado,I hadn't heard about it till now, seems effective...Krav is to agresiv imo,the art of ball kicking,I just wanna get away from a fight, not make the guy adopt he's future children

  • @Krupiercinaherna Yeah, musado is good, but I never really thought Krav Maga is all it's cracked up to be. I agree with a lot of the principles like crotch shots, it just always seemed to be a fairly average martial art with too much weight given to it in the media. It's the Uzi of martial arts.

  • whats that music??

  • @Torgalx13 The song is "Drop the Bombshell" by Powerhouse 5000

  • @DonTouchDaSuit *Powerman 5000, bombshell. My bad :P

  • Soviet Russia is for pussy's

  • Looks very similar to Ju Jitsu and Judo.

  • @dumbguy200 That's because it's orgin is ju jitsu

  • looks very similar to CSW in america

  • badass

  • Nice demo - sambo is ever evolving - field expedient.

    Dobre Dein Komrade

  • I've got a few Sambo VHS tapes I found for an excellent price a year or two ago! I'm studying them intensely for when I prepare to enter the police academy.

  • yeah!

  • music name please

  • @TYGRYSEKszczecinstl Powerman 5000- drop the bombshell

  • @TYGRYSEKszczecinstl Bombshell 500

  • great demo

  • i am future sambo champion :D

  • GET UP GET UP GET UP

  • so in this video the difference between sambo and combat sambo is the camo outfit?

  • @senad54 no, the difference is that in combat sambo both strangles and leglocks are allowed and in combat sambo you kick and punch

  • good stuff!

  • guys please, ATA tae kwon do is not only the most lethal but also family friendly

  • @sarge1211 there are no words that describe how much i hope you are joking.

  • @pedro90 im glad you didnt take me seriously xD

  • @sarge1211

    ATA = McDojo

    LMFAO

  • @sarge1211 TKD really isn't that lethal. Really lethal martial arts are kick boxing, muay thai and probably combat sambo

  • @Kar77unen

every martial art is lethal if the martial artist is lethal.remember that

  • @ILiasMani i really can't see when i denied that

  • @Kar77unen of course not u did not i am just saying:)

  • @Kar77unen lethwei, my friend. Similar to Muay thai, but headbutts and raking knuckle strikes are allowed. Although to be honest, what I did was get a good grounding in Lethwei for effectiveness, then add a fairly diverse selection of dirty tricks like crotch shots, using improvised weapons like bottles. Sambo is a great military martial art, but in most fights BFT to the head is a better option than any wrestling, as it's what keeps your man down.

  • @sarge1211 i always found taekwondo a little too heavy on the patterns and combinations not enough emphasis on takedowns and BFT to the head. It's fun and effeective, but its far more of a sport-based martial art than a self-defence or combat one.

  • Russian Sambo is the most leathal martial art in the world. Superior to all.

  • @SuperDelta000 What about Israel's Krav Maga?

  • @MPA2000 Very good as well, but i prefer Russian Sambo its more complete.

  • @SuperDelta000 To my understanding it's not a martial art it's a combat system and there is a difference.

  • this is brazilian jiu-jitsu

  • @caique3oh3 No, they're all Judo. STFU no one really cares its all the same in the end.

  • Viktor Reznov likes this/

  • 2:17, damn I failed at the first step.

  • In Soviet Russia...

For Tekken fans: Sambo is the fighting style of Dragunov.

  • @DaveAmbrosiaMOSH yep it sure is. :D He also uses systema, you can tell by his many other moves.

  • muy interesantes sus movimientos y tecnicas de defenza felicidades

  • nice. i prefer judo, but this is a close second. although i do use BJJ for my ground game in grapling turnys. im going to look into this

  • Check out Russian army hand to hand fighting

  • dudley boys!

  • wtf is this its supost too be fighting n wrestlingg!!!!

  • 1:10 ,i use this thing IRL

  • thats why i love russian fighting

  • That's like Jiu Jitsu 2 it's the same (flying submission, arm bar, leg bar, arm locks)

  • The weapon disarming is clearly from Krav Maga.

  • @BennyDACHO :D :D

  • @BennyDACHO you mean Krav Maga's weapon disarming is from Sambo?

  • this looks like a cross between some kind of kung fu and american wrestling(real wrestling, not the WWE raw crap)

  • Damn, wish they had a Sambo school somewhere in my area :(

  • Powerman 5000 is the worst band ever, seriously

  • I can do a flying armbar too!......in a pool...with floatees

  • combat sambo is the best fighting system in the world

  • How is the name of the band that play this fucking good music? please tell me people, i want it!!!

  • @danteferchu powerman 5000 "bombshell"

  • @Lavashield Lavashield, You're the best! thanks my friend!!!

  • RUSSIAN SAMBO IS PERHAPS THE MOS GAY FORM OF SODOMIZING YOUR OPONENT ONLY DRUNK RUSSIAN COMMIES DO THIS HOMO STUFF JUST LIKE FEDOR WITCH BY THE WAY IN MY NATIVE LANGUAGE IT MEANS "STINK"...I FUCKING HATE RED BASTARDS...DIE U ALL M.F.....

  • @takenbythesword Paranoid much?

  • This is HOOOT <3

  • A couple of those moves are incorporated in MCMAP; the rolling leg lock, arm bar etc. But i wouldn't count on a flying armbar to work on someone expecting it, it relies too much on the opponent being stunned or confused.

  • Can someone explain what the move at 0:44 to 0:48 is?

  • @OperationAnime262 It is a knee pressure against your balls. Wery painfull...

  • @OperationAnime262 How about a serious reply? The technique at 0:44 is a calf crush/keylock... What happens is the foot is pinned under the butt (as you can see) and the forearm is threaded between the calf and thigh. When pressure is applied (by sitting back and pulling the arm) it hurts like the dickens! The "keylock" is similar except you rotate the forearm as if you were "turning a key" and you use the widest part of the arm to grind on muscles of the calf.

  • very cool sambo

  • sambo=Judo

  • @bogdanbocaful Not entirely true, Sambo consists of about 70% of original Kodokan techniques, the rest are invented, modified or taken from Greco-Roman, Freestyle and other forms of Folk Wrestling like Kosh, Chidaoba, Catch.

  • @fiveapril...who doesn't loves a russian big boy?????

  • Verdun FTW!

  • good !

  • Weak. Worst demo I've seen. Weak grappling.

  • @utoh50 bark bark bark goes the dog

  • @utoh50 <---hater?

  • Sambo is the junction of several martial arts in one

  • You're totally HOTTTTTT guys!

    Davai mouchini!

I love russia big guys! :D

  • i love copmbat sambo but i love more mma <3

  • i love all grappling sports!

  • you can effectively use combat sambo to someone who doesnt know MMA..

  • quite effective stuff!!!

  • WERDUM BEAT FEDOR

  • thumbs up if you want to recreate the technique on the minute 1:12 on your big brother!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good for competition, dangerous for real combat. Going to the ground and more so going to your back in th real fight very dangerous for so many reasons should be avoided if possible. Nice moves poor concept to self defense.

  • @CQB32 Not exactly.. Some of them moves are pretty safe to perform, some a dengerous of course, so you avoid them and use the onces which are safer to do... and if you fight on the grass then it will be safe to do any moves really.. just depends how you do them really.. oh and I did Sambo before for some time btw, so I'm not just making this up :)

  • @Inf3ct3d92 Well what I am talking about is the concept. Yes the ground is hard and u may be injured, but also remember for self defense or in combat when you are on the ground even in a superior position u ar at great risk other attack from a second attacker which you will have little ability to defend. As a CQB instructor I have trained under top military instructors and experienced combatives live many times. You want to your enemy but not tie yourself up. I have done Sambo, Judo BJJ also.

  • @Inf3ct3d92 Remember arm bar and knee bars are competition move. To ever think you would perform some type of a takedown right into a arm or knee bar in real combat would be unadvisalbe. Think about it there are much less risky and less likely to fail takedowns and control holds or finishes. Things that allow you to defend from a 2nd attacker or weapon deployment from the first attacker. What u see in this video are fantastic competition move, might work out great in real combat, but very risky!

  • @CQB32 Technically figthing it self if risky and most of the moves not only in SAMBO are risky as well. But there are more then just those moves to perform and combined with other marshall art it works great. Normally you will try to avoid unfair 2v1 fights if possible.

  • @Inf3ct3d92 I am not saying Sambo is without merit for combat, but alot of the concepts are poor for combat. Some elements are effective in the right situation. I was commenting more on the principals shown like doing a single leg take down into a knee or ankle lock. Competition not combat. Anything might work, but we have to look at the potential risks and failure rates. I have trained for years in BJJ, Sambo, Judo, Wrestiling and include these in my training of police and military.

  • dude i would kill for a camo gi

  • I like the variety of leg locks,

To me, legs are limb too, and should be attacked just as much as arms and neck in rolling. But every time, its always the arms or neck, legs maybe once in a while, but never as frequent.

  • This is like, "I'm going to kill you, but first i'm going to snap every bone in your body."

  • haha who ever it is it just takes a grab of the arm then they go down like in old country

  • these guys are hot!

  • my guess is ex spetsnaz

  • this is the coolest shit i hav ever seen i am going to do this some day

  • Sergei Dragunov likes this video.

  • Comment removed

  • SONG NAME PLS :)))) nice video !

  • @TheGraveDiggerZ Powerman 5000 - Bombshell

  • russia still kill ......many good people try said true to the world but russia goverment is liar and special kiler they don't care other option.WHY WE NOT STOP THEM

  • @kacper2001 COZ NO BALLS:)))

  • These techniques are cool and all, but against a true martial artist this stuff would never work, not to mention flexibility and simple reactions could counter 90% of those moves

  • @JACharbs Aaah......Ssmbo is a martial art. A "true martial artist" would be well versed in these techniques otherwise get their ass handed to them. Ever heard of Fedor Emelianeko?????

  • @JACharbs err...this is Sambo, this was created for the purpose of breaking bones and killing and it ignores all the flashiness of a shitload of martial art moves. Haven't you noticed that they grapple like the whole friggin time? This is a style used by bodyguards and Mixed Martial Artists that went on to become champions, so no disrespect but this is one of the most effective martial arts in the planet. By the way, which "True Martial Arts" were you referring to?

  • @JACharbs id bet in a real fight situation they would be doing these moves alot faster than this plus being flexible wont really work if your caught unaware and the speed of you leg being jammed up your arse would hurt, plus would you mind explaining what you mean by a "real martial artist" because for all i know is that you mean flash stage theatrics. this style of unarmed combat is meant to be brutal and simple, effective for fighting in trenches where rifles would serve less effectivly in 'em

  • /watch?v=5JILCKJgln8

A music, what is good for training, or do excercises :D ;) Check it men..

  • Sambo looks like a mix of Judo and Ju-Jitsu

  • @CerpinTaxt1983 close, more Judo perhaps. As jiu-jitsu has no striking.

  • @JahnosSardonis: I think the one of the founders studied Judo under Kano Jigoro, then incorporated some elements of the wrestling traditions in the Central Asian parts of Russia and anything else he found useful.

  • @TheShamanSZ Like the ancient style of "Ass Kicking" =P

  • @JahnosSardonis : They called it Pankration ;).

Pity the Cardinal of Lyon was so stuck up about it when de Coubertain was reinstalling the Olympics, if it hadn't been for him WMA might be a lot more advanced.

  • @TheShamanSZ You can always blame the French for whatever reason things aren't more awesome than what they already are =P

  • gsp is not impressed

  • Nice!

  • somone has a knife!!! QUICK.....put him in ...a leglock...smh...

  • Why is everyone who said fuck getting thumbs. Fuck this..

  • @againsturlaw Fuck you. :3

  • @AnubisEye009 Fuck you too ;D

  • @againsturlaw @AnubisEye009 awww, fuck you both. <3

  • @AlexLococo No no no no... You have to choose one, you can't just choose both of us that's cheating..

  • @againsturlaw Aw... =C

    Well, fuck you. =)

  • @againsturlaw like you

  • goin my first sambo class tomorow cant wait...shit music btw

  • The entire point of sambo is for self defense use.

  • @xandon24 You don't say... -_-

  • gerraa werdum !! bitch hahahahaha brazilian jiu-jitsu

  • leg lock at 0:47? Whats it called? How is it done? Anyone know a vid that shows how to or book or anything? PLEASE!

  • Ninjutsu is more technical, mental/spiriit/philosophy, and is more traditional. Don't get me wrong - ninjitsu is combat oriented, but it is a full Martial Art, versus a Combat Art like this. Combat arts train you for everyday fighting situations, Martial Arts give you the MINDFRAME to handle the "fights" of life (as well as combat). It's hard to reapply a tactic or form learned in Sambo to a intangible challenge in life...like you can do with Ninjutsu/Aikido/etc.

  • @5h4d0w990 Nobody would believe this if they havent experienced that on themselves...or unless it is told by some1 they trust....but i gotta say i do traditional wing chun and yeah it does help alot in life and what u are saying is true.

However dont get me wrong but if you arent a dedicated martial artist you wont feel shit from any art or combat style, whichever it is. The main problem with the traditionals are that there are many ppl who think 2 trains/week for 1h will make them overpowered!

  • WERDUM beat fedor

  • @werleyamaral Mistakes happen ;).

  • @ENJager WERDUM BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

  • @werleyamaral Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fails.. You can only fight if you have grapple.. In Sambo we can prevent BJJ moves ;D

  • If you knwo both you kick ass, it's about the practitioner, not the style

  • @AlexLococo Depending on how the person uses it. The style is only as good as the person using it.

  • my impression is that good sambists would kick ass in in a one on one fight

  • Sambo = Russian Jujitsu.

i have used all of these moves in jujitsu.

and we are openly tought them.

  • @Radioactivewalnut its maybe civil Sambo is more based on harmless jitsu... u had to see military in real action u`ll change your mind

  • it's harder when it's not a demonstration and your enemy don't let you do this, but still, nice techniques

  • Wow... some fighting style that ACTUALLY have self defence from things that may actually happen with anyone.

Like at 1:28... thats pretty common

  • funny to see some retard think any country can beatGreat Russian federation, go learn history..... noone won vs russian

  • @legoscorpio russia is a great country but they are also a dying country. their previous might is failing. they are having trouble even staying controlled, they are almost on a the brink of civil war, their military budget is 6th lowest in the world and their population is not really too large

  • @Radioactivewalnut dear friend same mistake as u did thinking russian is deing country, had done Adolf, and Napoleon. were they right? situation was harmfull also.... but its a powerfull russian nation can rise every time to beat each enemy outside and inside country

  • @Radioactivewalnut as already said, when the time will come everyone in this country will be as one, maybe even because our country always had hard times, we are used to it, it's a "normal" state

  • What is this horseshit? UFC would destroy either of these donkeys.

  • @yardape99 UFc is also MMA a Mixed Martial Arts company meaning they use multiple Martial Arts Sambo is just one type so it would be a unfair fight it is like you fighting a Sambo artist

  • @yardape99 this horse shit is what fedor emilianko uses, one of the best fighters

  • @yardape99

there's a big difference between UFC fighting and street or combat fighting,

a lot of mma is much much to slow and is not designed to fight more then one person or to be lethal which is necessary in combat. You cant be punching a guy in the head six times to knock him out because by that time you've been shot, stabbed or attacked by one of his buddy's seeing in a combat situation its very rare that you'll go hand to hand with only on attacker.

  • @Celithheim Plus if I'm fighting for my life I'm gouging eyes, aiming for the crotch, trying to rip your ears off, cracking ribs, breaking fingers, basically gonna do my best to cripple or kill my attacker! So yeah huge difference from the ring to the blacktop, I agree

  • @Celithheim True... BUT you have to admit... Not everyone knows how to fight... I practice kung fu myself and im starting to practice Sambo to complement my fighting style. Now i spend like 3 or 4 minutes fighting a single oponent but he is a martial artist as well, in a bar fight i was with some friends and there was this guy looking for some trouble and choosed me because im the smaller, now there he didnt hit me once and he was knoked out... Do the math, 1 / 1000 are martial artist if not few

  • @yardape99 u dont know shit about UFC...

  • in soviet russia martial art fights you
