I was surprised by the songs they covered. especially the RFTT cover until I realized its because the Dead Boys but still surprising. It sucks when bands like this their fans hate on the originals that they would probably would never have heard otherwise. That they say these versions are better only because its by a favorite band of theirs instead of really listening. the bands themselves never believe their covers are better. Most people don't realize that "Welcome to the Jungle" has about 11 different riffs and chord progressions in it while also doing many key changes which is unheard of in 90% of popular singles regardless of genre. And that song sounds nothing like "You Ain't the First" "Civil War" "This I Love" or "I Used to Love Her" which are all diff styles. Same with "Locomotive" "My World etc

I love Duff's voice. It' not so brilliant in skill as Axl or other legendary frontmen, but he still got awesome voice perfect for straight punk. Simple but unique. By the way, I thank GN'R for introducing some bunch of excellent songs in the Spaghetti Incident? album. I didn't know about The Damned at all back in early 90's.

Saw the Damned live in '76 and the site of Captain Sensible playing bass on this track wearing a pink tutu and Doc Martens was classic, only to be topped by him then stripping off the tutu and finishing off playing wear just his DMs!!!
