  • A great combo! Garry Moore SHREDS UP A STORM!

  • You live on George........Thank you for all the great memories!

  • I love the videos of the concerts performed by British musicians; in them, we can enjoy great musicians of all time and none of them try to prevail over the other, they just enjoy the music while offer us a great show! RIP George! ....... RIP Gary!

  • George Harrisson Frank Zappa Freddie Mercury.

    The early 90s were gloomy..

  • George `s Masterpiece .....

  • 10 years without George...

  • my left ear feels lonely.

  • @BerkeleyBuilt I thought it was my speakers lol xo

  • Is this concert on DVD / can please tell me were I can obtain, I check in Amazon

but they don't have Please I would like to have this great concert. Thanks

  • Awww....George had THAT look in his eyes at 3:55 lol

  • WHAT A EXTREMLEY TALENTED MUSICIAN..RIP GEORGE HARRISON BUT.YOUR MUSIC WILL LIVE ON...Debbie Landolph

  • wtf my left ear went deaf

  • He caught "booty flu" dating waiters from coffee shops..well documented ..and his son was most likely Eric Clapton's as they played "wife swap" on a regular basis.

Being married doesn't stop anyone from being gay..just hides it.

  • that's so stupid! he and Clapton married Patty Boyd in the 60's etc and he had his son Dhani with Olivia many years later..why are u maligning a wonderful man???

  • @rudyxrudy And Dhani is the spitting image of George!

  • @rudyxrudy The also had a baby boy in 1967 George and Patti named carl and gave him up for adoption!

  • @martygruffy1 Can you provide proof of this, or is just another bit of sordid 'Biz Gossip'?

  • Respond to this video... I didn't know clapton Married her thought they just dated? I guess that's show bIZ for ya!

  • how can 36 people dislike the men who brought music to a whole new level?

  • maestro de maestros!!!!!!!

  • @alvarorestre62 Toda la razon amigo, Maestro de Maestros

  • you are some of the dumbest people i have ever heard. It is obvious the only album any of you heard is ALL THINGS . try 33&3rd MATERIAL WORLD . He was an artist ,and if didn't have anything to offer he'd back off, unlike Paul Christ what's the last thing he's done?

  • I love every song of George....

  • Still too many people arguing who was best and who was not properly a "genius": I bet nobody will never find 4 geniuses in Liverpool or in any other city of this world. No need to say it's too easy now to go and get a genius in NY, another one in London, another one in Dubai and put them together to say they are as good as the Beatles...

It was a miracle: four guys living in the same city, in the same time, each one of them (no doubt) extremely talented.

  • I was at this concert, . This video brings back memories and tears of joy and sadness of the loss of one of the greatest songwriters and performers of our time. I remember the leaflets for the political party on the seats before you sat down. George saying, with a grin on his face, that he enjoyed it so much that perhapes he should do more like this. A tragedy to think that this was his last concert!? Does anyone remember the black blues guy that performed I can't find any info anywhere?

  • I'm sure George met his Sweet Lord... Rest in peace genius, you will never die

  • If you really want to hear the very best version of this song, check out Peter Frampton. His version is incredible.

  • Poor George! He was surrounded by so much talent for so long, that after a while, he began to believe HE TOO MUST BE "TALENTED". He went to his grave not quite understanding why he never got the same respect the others got! Little wonder his fans are busy trying to reinvent his legacy. To bring him up from the cellar, so to speak!

  • @thegrinchl7 how do you record all things must pass without talent?

  • @nagantm44 - "All Things Must Pass" was largely a collection of songs rejected by the Beatles over the previous 12 years. It was a bucket of discarded songs deemed "not good enough". He had 12 years to polish and rework many of these songs. You know, if you release 30 songs...you're likely to have a couple of "hits". Unfortunately for George, his biggest "hit" turned out to be PLAGIARIZED! The sad truth of the matter is that without John and Paul, George would NOT have been a musician.

  • @thegrinchl7 George would have too been a musician... at the time George entered the Beatles, he was better than both John and Paul. George was already a musician, and if he wanted, he could have gone solo and probably still made it to fame.

  • @musicE136 Ringo was the one. The beatles wanted cus he was ugly. Pete Best was attracting all the attention and Paul and John couldn't have that could they?

  • @thegrinchl7 If not for George the beatles would not exist ...It was Georges friend that had the connection that got them signed to their first contract that launched them..Not to mention it was George who brought in Ringo when Pete Best did Not show up for their gigs..

  • @turfterror- Sentimental, perhaps...but not terribly

accurate. Manager Brian Epstein having knocked on

every studio door had ONE LAST STUDIO to call on

before giving up. He went to a division of EMI which

specialized in comedy and "unusual" records. The

classically trained George Martin heard a raw quality

in the 4 and wanted to hear more. MARTIN insisted on

a new drummer. John and Paul had this in mind anyway

and insisted on Starkey. Harrison had nothing to do with

    it.

  • @thegrinchl7 bugger off...

  • he didn,t

  • I'm 12 years old. Can anyone tell me if THIS is the song George plajer....plagericed...playjer iced ....oh, dang! Is this the song George STOLE from the Chiffons? I'm doing a report!

  • @thegrinchl7 no. the song you mean is "my sweet lord" this is "while my guitar gently weeps"

  • @roman14032 - Oh. Why did George steal "My Sweet Lord" from another artist? I mean, if your gonna give your "sweet lord" a present....why did he give him a STOLEN present? Why did the Beetels let George stay in the band if he stole music? And why is he singing? He has a terrible voice!

  • @so much talent?you act as id the others were friken geniuses or something.

  • it was nice to see the beatles in some form working together after they split up.

  • I cant believe that anyone, let alone a large company wouldnt release theo fficial film of htis on VHS or VD or something!!! George wasn't some lousy club musician, he was a former Beatle, guitar God, friend of other amazingly talented people like Clapton, and his music touched millions of lives. there's plenty of footage of rap artists and teenage wannabee stars, why not George?

  • @4FabBEATLES - Although George wrote 2 or 3 good songs

the body of his work suffered from awkward lyrics and melodies.

Many music critics complained of the inherent RINKY-DINK

quality of Crackerbox Palace, When We Was Fab and All Those

Years Ago. His biggest "hit" turned out to be PLAGIARIZED.

I think there's something else working here: he did not have

John's playfulness and searing wit. He did not have Paul's charm

or command of melody. In the end, people just don't like George.

  • @4FabBEATLES yeah, I mean, if anyone should be criticized it should be the stupid rap songs that go on and on with the drugs and sex and shit. george was a legend, and he still is.

  • héhè_Ì_fËÈl_sÖ_lòñÈlý_tõdÃY

  • This material is gold. Pity that the sound is not good.

  • R.I.P Georgie!

  • Gary Moore you rocked. Vale

  • R.I.P. Gary Moore

  • A good quality version? It sounds like shit!

  • what an amazing solo by Moore!

  • great song

  • I was fortunate to be on stage for this song as I was involved in organizing the concert. All I can say is that it was pure magic. Something I'll never forget.

  • @tonyellis108 wow that's awesome,,is there a problem with my speaker or is it their equipment ? wow I love George ,,just watched the HBO special on him so talented and so sweet!

  • Theoretically it should sound incredible..for some reason I'm getting only one channel and that is muted and distorted.. Damn, this is a killer line up..from what I can hear it's JAMMIN'

  • wat was it like being in his presence?

  • Imagine the size of the camera the guy was holding in 1992!

Haha imagine trying to smuggle that inside!

  • @mlclau it wasnt illegal fo film concerts back then really- there wasnt security and checks nad stuff and youtube didnt exist back then so private filming couldn't hurt the music business

  • IN. CRE. I.BLE!!!

    =D

  • oh my god look at ringos hair lol rip george harrison and john lennon they will live on forever

  • I wonder how many holes it takes to fill that Albert Hall....

  • @RobSingsLikeaBoss . It is primarily Garry Moore, but George also plays towards the end a slower more bluesy style. I have the Cd of this concert. It was one of his last live concerts. If you want to hear George play some wonderful guitart listen to Alvin Lee with George Harrison on a song called the bluest blues

  • all great musicans that know and sing the truth about the world and has massive influence will die, that is the truth, there are people out there that dont want you to know!

  • is that george playing lead guitar

  • R.I.P George Harrison 1943-2001 and I was born in 1999... I wish i could meet him before he died :'(

  • @MrPaulmccartney111 If you're 12 then you're on the right path

  • @MrPaulmccartney111 I was born 5 months before his death. I'd give up my life to meet him too :'(

  • @BeckyBeatle i know right?

  • @MrPaulmccartney111 And now it is R.I.P Gary Moore-we are losing them fast...

  • I was there, and to dispel any notion there was loads of footage shot- there wasnt. There was one video camera filming the show from the soundboard, and that was probably the Harrison familys private copy. Other than this, super footage, a portion of the concert exists, shot from further back. I dare say that Harrisons film will make its way into the Martin Scorsese biopic that is in pre-production. But thanks for putting this up. I hadn't seen it, nor had many others Im sure.

    Simon Wells

  • Scorsese is doing something on George. Sweet!

  • I am glad to have ANY footage of George... To the fan that filmed this... Thank you... Appreciated to the MAX...

  • SOMEONE PLEASE KILL TWO USELESSLEGS and any otther FUCKER that calles George ANYTHING nasty... He was a man that sang what he was feeling and KNOWS that our planet is ascwending into hell... Then again I hope that the ass I mentioned in in HELL FIRST... Screw off you tosser mother fucker... You piss on George you make a terrible ENIMEY.... ME....

  • @harrisonfanalways

STFU! You don't make any sense.

  • STOP pissing all over george... I am sick to death of it... Lennon and Mecca may have been the "Big Shots" of the Beatles, but George was a man that went and did his own thing... During his time away from the Beatles he wrote and sang some great shit... Anyone that does not understand george and what he was about will never get it... People like you are useless to me.. I get what george was about and you NEVER EVER WILL.. Tht is what I mean...

  • This is definitely rare footage to be enjoyed by George Harrison fans. Thank you. I would have chopped out Ringo....but whatever ;)

  • "A good quality version filmed very near the stage"

You must be joking. I appreciate the problems involved, but that is a wildly optimistic statement!

  • slightly rare footage of George playing a Les Paul! Cool!!!!

  • grande george

  • Sinatra once said tht Something is the best love song ever written! Who would argue with Frankie.

  • dhani we need the complete video of george harrison tour in japan in 1992,,,you dont need the money!!! what is your problem.....

  • Dhani has said that the video footage that exists is a fluke. George apparently did not film the shows. The venue that they played in filmed some of the show and that is where that footage comes from.

  • George wrote While my guitar gently wheeps, Something,

Here comes the sun, Taxman, Inner light,

all great songs, especially Something is one of the overall best Beatles songs.

  • George Harrison Rock´s!!!

  • I gotta admit I have about 10 songs of Harrison on my Ipod. When I can't sleep, I play those songs and after the first number I start yawning , then slowly but SURELY I fall asleep... In a way that IS a compliment to George Harrison.

  • Listen to Extra Texture, hipocrites and pretenders can't write the songs like that ones.

  • UselessJet ! you can find the answers in Georges music if you want. Are you from TAX inspection?

  • yes this may be true but like many classic artist are sooo souful & awsom

  • Please revoxy, block the uselessbrain guy!

  • You are an idiot.

  • alot of people are hypocites. that doesnt make this song any worse. theres alot of bullshit in this world(especially in america) and the rest of us just learn to let it be.(no pun intended)

  • What's wrong with that anyway? He earned every penny he had with ten years of hard work. Shut the fucking mouth up

  • I do not argue with people watching Pop Music and Simpsons. How old are you 11?

You should learn to respect other people`s opinions and not aggress them like Adolf Hitler - you stupid moron from what is that shit called Guadal...... Do you have electricity?

  • I am deeply offended... LOL! What are you doing posting in "pop music" videos, if you don't like them?

  • Awesome song, awesome person,

    awesome video. :) thanks.

  • amazing

  • shut yer puss.

  • hell of a musician...

  • RIP, George...

  • Well excuse me... I think none of the beatles where saints. Lennon abandoned his first child ( Julian), while McCartney was giving the rest of the beatles a hard time just before the beatles break-up. Doesn't make me love them any less though. I mean, Harrison's music is brilliant, that's all I know. Who are you to say he didn't live his life right?

And one last thing... since when do peace, love AND money not go together?

  • @bananatree0 Agreed, What's so funny about Peace, Love and Understanding?

  • TwoUselessLegs......My Sweet Lord and He's So Fine sound NOTHING alike!!! What a load of crap in the courthouse!!! If I had the money Harrison had, I wouldn't allow people on my beachfront property either!!! Hell, I don't allow people to walk across the lawn of my little property right now!!

  • i am a beatle fan and george and ringo are my favourite beatles

  • Oh, come on. George deserved every cent and the privacy he earned. As he put it, "People gave their money. The Beatles gave their nervous system."

  • jack - I am sentimental about the Beatles. Very few of us will ever see the likes of them again. Still, as individuals, they were, of course, severely flawed. John was an egomaniac. Paul was vain. Out of all of them, George made himself ridiculous with his spiritual posturing. How many of us need a 120 room mansion to live in? How many of us need an $800 million car collection? Mind you, I don't think George was any different than most celebrities, AND THAT'S MY POINT. He just pretended he was.

  • brilliant

  • Thats beautiful, just to see his face. Thank you for this video.. Wish I was there.

  • I am surprised that this much video was taken from so close. Hard to believe no professional version of the show was filmed.

  • r.i.p george :( my guitar gently weeps for you long live the guitar legend

  • @Spencertheguitargod George Harrison will live forever on videos, CDs , tapes and albums. Om Namaste Om.

  • R.I.P George Harrison

  • muy buen pirataaa

  • This is actually a pretty good version of the sound - minus the poor quality of the recording but Prince, Petty, Lynn, and Dhani Harrison's performance of this song at the Rock & Roll HOF induction for he and George is much better. Its on Tube under Greatest Guitar Solo Ever-Prince. Check it out and compare

  • i absolutely hate the music in this time, i want to write my own songs, i'm gonna try and write my own songs and it'll be nothing like today.

  • go for it. start out with the book on Harmony by Walter Piston. Learn how to do it right. Then like any good lawyer you will know the right way to break the rules. There is a difference and thats why todays music sucks. Its pure musical crime without any artistic mitigation.

Can you imagine George and Les Paul jamming on their harps together? cheers

  • and duane allman

  • Dont try and copy the oldies though, either. Rebelling against the music of today is about creating a new sound, not just reverting back to the same thing. The Beatles were absolutely amazing but make sure your self written songs are original and not spoofs. Good luck!

  • pff... hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • amen to that, i do the exact same thing

  • This Video has a very bad quality. For those who dislike Gary Moore I only can see on this Vid that George has fun to play this old Beatles song with an absolute profi as Gary is. Best wishes to all the other Beatles fans. I will always remember this great times. R.I.P. George

  • screw yourself Gary Moore! 7 minutes and 20 seconds of solo!!! WTF!!! somone pls unplug his damn guitar!!!

LUV U AND MISS U GEORGE!!!

  • great artist, great song, we miss you too GH.

  • loved that you could see his face....when he sings and laughs, BEAUTIFUL MAN!!! Never lost his looks...unlike Lennon, who changed so much in his later years. But love them both!! RIP, guys!

  • George Harrison was a wonderful person and had a great soul.

He did not deserve to die the way he did.

  • The camera shots... where were at least a couple pullaways? You could barely tell he had a guitar in his hands. Otherwise, nice to see and wow how time has a way of going and passing us all by.

  • did you know 4000 holes can fit in the albert hall :p

  • A Day in the Life! my favorite song on Sgt. Pepper's :P

  • I was at a Gary Moore concert at the Albert Hall a little earlier than this, 1990-1 I think. At the end of the main set Gary came back on and said he had a surprise guest, and on walked George Harrison. George played a couple of songs, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and I can't remember the other one(!), then went off and Gary Moore finished the night with one of his own numbers. I do recall George played a very nice Telecaster. Very very unexpected and a real priviledge to have been there.

  • i noticed in all his performances of this song the i learned from the wings at the play you are stageing is never song but its on the song

  • its on the anthology version idk y there removed it for the final cut cuz its a really good verse

  • i think it was a jab at faul but idk

  • I'm 10 years old and all the songs I like are like, 50 years older than me!

  • wtf you give this kid thumbs down for? appreciatte that he listened to the song dipshits!

  • FUCK! GARRY MOORE....

    HOLY SHIT!

  • You have to admit Ringo and Yassir Arafat could be brothers....

  • LOL... that's funny

  • yes idd :P

  • OMG, that's hilarious!!! and true!!!

  • Love George!

  • i was born in 1992.

    how gay

    haha

i missed the great music generation

cause 80% of music changed since i was born

    haha

dont try to kill me though :P

  • Yea man its all killed since ur era started...Ur still pretty young...have a long way to go...so start off early getting into classic rock. If thats the genre u prefer

  • i feel the same way.

its been 17 years, and some of my favorite songs came from when i wasnt born yet. odd.

  • same, and im 14

  • me too!!!

  • im 14 too but ive seen alot of good bands.

  • I am back on my first account I have her on You Tube... He was more then a backup man to the Beatles, He was a gentle soul that did whatever he wanted and recorded only when he wanted to.. After the WB crap he never bowed to anyone again.... I miss him....

  • yeah...the "backup man" who played lead guitar while lead vocalist Lennon played rhythm guitar...guess it doesn't really matter anymore.

  • I am surprised that this much video was taken from so close. Hard to believe no professional version of the show was filmed. But, this show was put together so fast and was before George was diagnosed so who could know it would be the last concert. If it were John or Paul, it would have never gone without filming. George just didn't think that way. Maybe Olivia and Dhani will surprise us all one day, but I sure didn't see any professionals there. Thanks for letting me revisit the moment.

  • I was there too. Great show. I have been looking for a video of this and have only found a very distant copy. Don't suppose there is more? Thanks for sharing. It took me to a wonderfully happy place!

  • I was there too. This video was shot by a friend who was filming behind. Unfortunately he only passed 2 clips onto me. This was transferred from an old VHS and I do not have a higher quality version. Still it's priceless in any form.

  • A good quality version???

  • Have you seen what else is available?

  • man ,he wrote while my guita gently wheeps, something, here comes the sun, taxman, inner light, all great songfs especially something is one of the overall best beatles songs.

  • The crowd went wild (I was in that crowd) when Ringo appeared unannounced on stage. It was the first time in 25 years a Beatle had performed on stage in London, and now there were two of them on stage together! But rather than bask in the crowd's adulation, Ringo walked straight over to George, lifted George's hand and said: "Let's here it for Georgie!" It was a beautiful, selfless, loving gesture. I attended George's party after the show. He was very humble and kind. A beautiful guy. RIP George

  • bien

  • You have a right to your opinion. What about Something, Here Comes the Sun, My Sweet Lord, What Is Life, Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)and others? While Harrison didn't write as many songs, the best of his are as good as anything written by McCartney or Lennon so "stick it up your ass" :-).

  • I just love and loved George Harrison..:)
