  • Max Headroom was awesome...

  • Rags To Riches. Was amazing! ! People use to look at me crazy when I talk about. It like it didn't exist !

  • OMG- people thought I was making up the Charmings when I talked of them! Loved Rags to Riches (had em o tape at one time),

  • Colonel Roy Campbell, Solid Snake's commanding officer, was in The Charmings?

  • The only one that I recall is Max Headroom. He made stammering c,c,cool.

  • Max Headroom was an actual show? I thought he was only on Pepsi commercials..Hmmm. Interesting

  • Rags to Riches was Da Bomb

I use to watch that during my early days of Elementary and is it me or does Joseph Bologna reminds me of Jim Perry of Card Sharks and $ale of the Century Fame?

Series Creator Bernie Kukoff went on to produce Season 7 of The Cosby Show and the short lived abc sitcom Thea

  • I grew up in the 80's and i cant honestly remember any of these tv themes....maybe i was too busy watching mash, alf, perfect strangers, cheers, mr belvedere, married with children, night rider, the a-team, tour of duty, etc etc...

  • @nintendoneil That was probably it, lol. I remember knowing of these shows and telling myself that I'd have to try and catch up on them via reruns but they ended getting cancelled before I could. The Popcorn Kid, however, I don't recall ever hearing of that one.

  • omg! The Popcorn Kid! Nobody but me remembers that show

  • WOW, I used to love this show!

  • as many shows as I see I've never heard of and being a shitload there should have been like a NBC 2 ABC 2 etc probably would have sold a shitload of VHS tapes back then too to record the other channel so we wouldn't miss one

  • OMFG Corky Sherwood Forrest working the concession stand WHA WHA? I WAS HOOKED ON RAGS TO RICHES...Kimiko Gelman...you rocked my world back then!!

  • I LOVED rags to riches!! and we taped the charmings too on vhs!!

  • Who would have thought that Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's first project together was a tv dud.

  • The Charmings! I was just telling my student about this- as she loves princesses and snow white!

  • i have the complete series "Rags to Riches" on dvd. all twenty episodes, all commercials deleted, and recorded at sp. some have video issues but all are very watchable. if anyone is interested in a set please contact me.

  • The Charmings, The Popcorn Kid, Rags to Riches, Max Headroom, Take Five. Nice picks. Max Headroom is the one that stands out for me.
