Allosaurus is Stronger than Stegosaurus but dident attack Stegosaurus because it will get injured or die by one hit from Stegosaurus tail. They did Allosaurus too small. It's looks like little bit smaller than Stegosaurus in this walking with dinosaurs video. Allosaurus is bigger than Stegosaurus. Stegosaurus is only 8 m (26 ft) long and weight is 2 tonne, Allosaurus is 12 m (40 ft) long and weight is 2-5 tonne and height is 4-5 m (13-16 ft) head is 1 m (3.3ft) and teeths are 10+ cm (3.3+ inch).

@Kenany9: Nah, they did Allo's size right. That forty footer you posted were the biggest of the big which were old, mature female Allosaurs. Most normal Allosaurs were between 25-30 feet long, roughly the same size as a Stego.

Stegosaurus had keratin on its plates, so it couldn't cool down OR flush blood into them.

The plates of Stegosaurus has a lot of spaces and caverns inside. The most probable reason is that in vivo it contained a network of blood vessels.

The Stegosaurus would always kill a Allo with his tale.If he hit the head or stomach,the Allosaurus is dead.But if it hit is leg,the Allosaurus wouldn't be able to hunt anylonger and would die from hunger.I think the Stegosaurus was-so as the Ankylosaurus-unbeatable.

Understanding question,but I will go for the Ankylo.His tail can do more damage.The spikes can't go trough the armour of the Ankylo,but the bat on the Ankylo's tail can breake the Stego's bones.But they didn't live in the same age so they never faced-off,so actually,we will never know.

They did a lot research but we will never know something about dino's for 100% real. You can put the bones together but that doesn't say everything. As a exaple their colours. Nobody in this world will ever know it. They can look like the colours of the Allosaurs, but maybe the Allo was pink with purple stripes or something.

Like I said before they need to make a 3d Dino game with graphics like this. Where it's a survival game hunt or be hunted. You can be any type of Dino's. Flying, aquatic , herbivore or carnivore . and a course some type of goals in the game. Maybe some time of nesting grounds or hunting grounds or even extinction =P lol I donno they just need to make a game similar to my idea before I die =)

I agree with you that the most famous fight in the late cretaceous was the fight between Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops, however, the most comparative T-Rex opponent to Stegosaurus must be Ankylosaurus due to the fact he uses his club tail.
