I'm relatively new at the game. I just played it for the 1st time in Atl Cty, NJ & in Charles Twn, WV. I get confused about what is hard & what is soft. Also, are the rules different for each city? Like, is Vegas different/same from Reno? Is Charles Town the same/different as Atlantic City???
A soft hand is one formed with an ace where it has the value of one or eleven. A hard hand simply means a hand without an ace or where an ace can only take the value of one (an eleven would cause a busting hand).
Rules (also called conditions) vary from casino to casino. A list of rules for every casino in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada is also available on the the EasyMoneyBlackjack website under the "RESOURCES for Blackjack Players" menu on the left.
Great information..... loved the book and used the easy money black jack system in Vegas two weeks ago.... doubled my money and had lots of fun. Thanks for teaching me how to have the edge over the casinos.....
