you can get all the colors you want in POST but you CAN'T get more range of light than you capture..

look at the lights and shadows in the cat, and watch it going to the dark part..

watching this video I say that flip minoHD is better but I would like to test it by myself..

The Flip MinoHD shows deeper color and the video seems to have more clarity vs the bland choppy video the Kodak produces. BTW: I don't own either camera just an observation before purchasing...

The real question for you though is, which camera accurately captured the colors of the room? Is your carpet kind of yellowish under your light or is it kind of white?

I see a black cat and I can see it's eyes in the MinoHD. With the Kodak, I see a black "blob" with no eyes. Not good for Kodak when you're filming something that's supposed to be a cat.

Really terrible test to be honest. The Zi6 is widely known to have poor low light quality, but it far exceeds the mino while filming outdoors. Showing just one shot of a poorly lit room is no real test.

The last one had a battery blow up in it. It hink for 150.00 Pure Digital is pure junk.

They also wont stand by their product past the 90 day warranty.

It looks like the MinoHD caught more details in low light but the auto white balance was a bit off while the Kodak had better AWB it was not as clear with the light source provided.

Go to frames that show the appliances in the kitchen. The Flip doesn't show true whites while the Kodak seems to do a better job. This means the auto white balance on the Kodak is better.
