Hi Jasmine, I spent most of my day viewing a bunch of your videos. I saw in this 09 video that you were using a black eye shadow brush to apply eye shadow. Do you still like the brush from the makeup brush company? The one that has an angle brush on the other side of the brush and is pink?

It's all just good technique and spending a long time on foundation, keep going back to areas with your foundation until all redness is covered!

I also have olive undertones. I use Erno Lazlo foundation, they have a good line of colors for yellow or olive skin tones.

I have very dry skin and moistion my skin thoroughly before applying foundation and i use liquid foundation by mac and i still get a very caked look and i do not apply it in excess. can you please help and tell me how i can get a smooth look.

try mixing th foundation with a bit of glycerine (only with the quantity you are using to apply) and sheer it a bit with a sponge to remove the cakeiness

Apply your foundation with a damp cosmetic sponge and not your fingers/brushes, apply in very small amounts to avoid build up around the dry skin.
