@aznmmv00 there is no joke anymore. it's so overused that it's just annoying, now. in Skyrim, you encounter guards in different places. Bethesda is known for being buggy with their games, and instead of it being an uncommon thing to hear, just about every guard tells you, "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee." so you have this mass population of guards throughout Skyrim who all took an arrow in the knee. it was funny in-game, but now, not so much.

There are monsters (like the one above) that hunt the corridors and if they see you, you have no other option but run (there aren't any weapons in the game). Later one you discover why you have amnesia. Highly recommended game. If you like horror games/movies, you're gonna love this one.
