Oh so you mean you were asking someone anonymous in a middle English dialect like "I pray ye, make thee a crack for the furtherance of mine iniquity." Okay that's what I thought you meant by the use of "pray" as an intransitive verb where the only two possible applications are the fore-mentioned and a request specifically to God in confession, supplication or thanksgiving. Sorry for the misunderstanding I was way off base there I guess.

I said don't try to be smart. I believe pray is also used by other religions to pray to there god/gods. I was praying to my god.

Hmm I'm intrigued on how your first response when you said "no one mentioned praying to God" and then you said now "praying to my god." Your statements imply that you recognized your god is not the God I would be referring to, without even identifying God by His Name. You then referred to your god as a "other god", "other" only can be interpreted as next to and second or alternative to the original. Amazing eh? If you really believed in your god you would not speak as if it is second to any.

God is the name of a god. You mentioned God an dnot god/s. I was praying to my god. I was not praying to God. I like to be literal with life with my religion. It helps avoid confrontations with other religions.

That's okay I guess if your god doesn't mind other people worshiping and thanking false gods for your gods grace mercy and favor. When I said God I meant the one true living God. His Name is JEHOVA meaning Lord and His Son's Name is Jesus Christ, Who's Name is above all other names and the only Name given under Heaven by which men must be saved.
