@clerlic - probably my favourite band of all time.
Unlike many dance acts they had a credible musical background.
In the 1980s they started life in Scotland as a guitar rock band - then around 89/90 moved into the electronic scene - the albums 'Phoward' and 'In Gorbechev We Trust' mark that transition.
Mr C (the rapper) joined in about 90/91 - and in 1992 they had their biggest album success with 'Boss Drum'.
Sadly, any re-formation would be without Will. Personally, I miss his touch in the post-En-Tact records. Maybe the later records were more commercially successful, but I still think Gorbachev and En-Tact were their finest moments.
@unclestoostoo Grüße Fräulein, Sturm-Verbot-Führer, All online multiplayer are the same on the same card over and over and can generate and play the same game multiplayer missions with the same players every time is boring as shit, I said the state's Washington Federal Bureau of Investigation at 206-622 -0460, as Microsoft uses the media as a deposit and lock them into this because there is a real U.S. Army and no one fighing attack Osama bin Laden is a repeat of 2002, is a holiday literurgical
You can hear the intro of "Indica" in an early form here around 2:40... but truth is this a pretty poor, messy version of Transamazonia. The arrangement is all over the place, and the chorus is let down by pretty duff synth strings. Whatever you think of The Beatmasters, they did a great job of making tight 3-4 minute pop songs out of the Shamen. That isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Wow! I was a drugged mess during this period of The Shamen.I did catch them at T in The Park in 1995 though, they were fantastic.Missed this though! What mix is this its fabulous! I loved the Alex Party mix of Transamazonia, but this is brilliant.
that is amazing! I wish i had the chance to go to that gig, looks absolutely fantastic. Always wondered what track that was on the interview on the DVD...

Was this considered a popular band? Because they're better than most crap they play on MTV and in generic night clubs.
