  • 23 people are confused catholics and believe that such a material can only be the work of the devil.

  • Metal Sonic

  • looks like a really creepy hedgehog

  • now put it in a microwave

  • is that the new playstation 4 coming out! looks cool if it is!

  • how lovely~~~

  • Prerequisites for this video: HAS TO BE STONED! And now its a space ship!

  • What Happens If U Were To Touch It Because I Really Want To, Its So Shiny LOL, But For Real What Happens And Y Is It Spiking up Like That

  • @LuvableBabyDe lol first of all... it smells like a diesel truck mated with a pile of t-rex droppings and it aged for 3 days then fell into a vat of radioactive waste... thus, my point is... you don't touch the really shinny shit. and its spiking because its a magnetic fluid and thats what magnetic field(s) look like.

  • @gittyupalice96 ohh cool and wow it really smells like tht dang i take my comment back LOL

  • is this the same thing used in running ufo's?

  • i want, and its funny, animals would be freaked out by this, and all we want to do is touch it

  • @perfecttouch can u touch ferrofluid

  • hedhehog

  • touch it

  • "FEAR ME!"

  • 360p has music and 720p doesn't...

  • Amazing thing...

  • this is awsome

  • i want one

  • mini mett igel FTW!

  • ...But the future refused to change.

  • if we can do this for fun, i can only imagine what if someone seriously invent something from that

  • @Eox3 Lots of things use ferrofluid, like speakers and some hard drives.

  • I first thought this is an animation because it was suggested next to some animated videos. As an animation it would be cool... but it's actually awesome !!!!!! I've never seen something like that before !

  • @FuckingPaintballs That's about as solid as it gets. The fluid is actually a bunch of magnetic nanoparticles suspended in a liquid, so I guess the solid form of this would be the straight up magnet.

  • i made it at home, it's very cool

  • @crip7rasta7skate7 what is this?

  • @bfh7777 it's a ferromagnetic liquid , when you move close a magnes to this, it looks like that on a movie

  • Rabid metallic porcupine ftw!

  • magneto liked this video 158 times

  • I wonder how it would react in the presence of a super magnet?

  • @ronsinsane I think the "peaks" get smaller, more numerous, and sharper as the magnetic field gets stronger. So I would guess a lot more sharper points.

  • It looks like Crysis 2 Armor mode in nanosuit showroom

  • wah, HQ too ^^

  • What's the name of the song in this video?

  • it's shiny and i want it

  • I want to eat...Swallow this...The texture must be amazing.

  • now put some magnets in a siut...a radiator....and if you get attackt just acktivate both ....no1 ever can hurt u again...

  • anyone notice the second rated comment is rated 69

  • @Baxten123

Its 74 tomorrow it will be something different

  • and to think, you can make this stuff with a toner cartridge and vegetable oil

  • It shows that universe is a record player. If you know what I mean or do you.

  • Why does every ferrofluid video on Youtube have epic music?

  • I find this difficult to masturbate to

  • As one cleverly said - Unicron's blood XDDD

  • Who keeps dividing by zero?

  • DAMMIT I WANNA TOUCH IT SO BAD XD

  • I'd say the music is done by Alio Die...or maybe Biff Johnson. Alio Die is Stephen Musso..and after you check him out completely...you'll understand that he's not of this earth.

  • if my paint job would stay like that shit id be fresh as a motha fucka

  • it actually looks more realistic in lower definition

  • @Sypher782 I know, it's so oily and glossy it looks like CGI

  • What's the source of the music? Some "CC licenses" require attribution and I don't see any source or credit to the composer.

  • @thermalmaximum Nothing to do with you, jobsworth.

  • @MitkoChan Nothing to do with you either. The music sounded interesting and I wanted to know if it was a certain musician or composer that I could hear more of. Or maybe it was just stock audio.

  • @thermalmaximum If you say so, but you seem more bothered about licensing in your original post.

  • I love how fake it looks. Even if I were to see this in person I would still think it's some kind of CGI effect.

  • You really, really don't want to poke it. That is unless you like the smell of lacquer on your hands afterwards.

  • @ kaplan 1616, no, I've wanted to poke this stuff since teh first time i saw it

  • ive seen this on the little fears video :D

  • hmm ferror fluid better call it the perfection fluid

  • @FUCKSALT666 The Toner + Corn Oil is a hoax. Please don't waste your money on toner like I did. Printer toner is not magnetic. Printer developer is. But even developer will leave you with a nasty non-fluidic result because the iron particles are too big in the developer. You need iron particles of 10nm width. And burning steel wool makes mostly particles that are too small. Then you need a surfactant. It's much easier to just buy commercially made ferrofluid than to try to make it yourself.

  • @tenkosami Hi. Did you try MICR Toner? Please wikipedia "MICR" You will be redirected to Micromagnetic Ink for Cheques or something like that.... that's the one kind of toner that has iron... I'm about to buy it and try. Just please confirm that you have not tried that kind of toner.

  • @medellinrob I have to admit that, I ordered the toner, then sent it back without trying it out. Because if I opened the package I could not get a refund.

  • Am I the only one who wants to eat it...?

  • that's awesome

  • I wanna touch it so bad. O_O

  • this is upgraded monolith from odisseya!

  • Is this real or is it cgi? If this were truly available, a phased induction coil could be used to spin it inside an aluminum container! This is the basis of the "gravity centrifuge" or "marconi vortex dynamo". I think this is a digital effect. Ning Li would want to ask you about infringements if it is real.

  • @dynagravitomagnetic It's real stuff. Also, I doubt that anyone has a patent on all possible molecular combinations which result in ferrofluid, so no one who makes a ferrofluid sculpture is going to have to pay royalties.

  • @tenkosami Q5industries wants to eat it....Whooop, Whoop!

  • Its magnetic liquid is all it is. look it up.

  • IT'S ALIVE!!!

  • The lighting is beautiful!

  • that looks amazing love the purple in there

  • hands-down coolest substance on Earth!

  • I got an idea...... put this shit in the oil we ship around the globe and when we got a spill in the water we just put a giant electro magnet into it and pick it up.....???

  • @Blayros and just hoe you imagine ferrofluid to mix up with the oil, and then be usable for further manufacture?

  • hey umm i made my own ferrofluid but i couldnt make the spikes

is that cuz i have a low lvl magnet? see me video in my profile channel it shows the only thing that my ferrofluid can do and what type of magnet im using help plz!

  • are there any useful applications for ferrofluid other than art

  • i wannnnn nnnna touch it!

  • This ferrofluid is in the water, am I right?

  • This ferrofluid is in the water, am I right?

  • it looks like what they do on the MTV commercials. Awesome!

  • how you take that off if it makes direct contact with a magnet?

  • what was that music?

  • that would be a nice wallpaper

  • @loxnnn you can put t if you download a screen capture software

  • The most amazing thing about ferrofluids is they let you see the magnetic flux of the various surfaces...Quite neat. Visual physics! :D

  • It's beautiful.......

  • Comment removed

  • @kevin69google who are they?

  • You are probably thinking of non Newtonian fluids. This is a ferrofluid

  • @kevin69google your a noob.

    Does that make any sense?

  • I remember reading somewhere that this stuff is the seed building block for the creation of inter-dimensional travel.

  • actually it look like nanotechnology..

  • @QnzWizKid looks mad cool

  • @QnzWizKid That's because ferrofluid IS made using nanotechnologies. Look it up.

  • What's the title/artist of the song in this video? I love it.

  • is it just me or is there now a 720p buton on the bar?

  • yes.. me too...

  • youtube is going HD now, doesnt it look amazing in 720p!

  • It looks amazing! This is the first one that i've really tried

Ferrofluid's are so much cooler in HD

  • they use Ferrofluids in medical procedures as a contrasting agent.. and are trying it in cancer treatments. its definitely not harmful.

  • magnetic ink? lol

It's mineral oil with iron particles

  • you can make it with ink toner and vegatble oil

  • It shouldn't be too harmful, it's magnetic ink with oil

  • Yaa

  • dont tutch it

  • @spindle7 ...why not?

  • why can't you touch it? isn't it just a high concentration of iron?

  • am i the only one who wants to poke it???

  • nope xD

  • no you can!!! think we'd be alright

  • @kaplan1616 It's actually very interesting the live experience with a ferrofluid. You can touch it, you can spin it. I even made a small magnetic ball, filling a baloon with ferrofluid. Using a bigger magnet, we can pull and push it as much as we want.

  • @kaplan1616 no

  • @kaplan1616 hell no!

  • @kaplan1616 ur not the only one :D

  • @TheJeremiah948 wow i didnt realize that many people want to poke pointy black goop XD

  • @kaplan1616 lol

  • @kaplan1616 no

  • @kaplan1616 I poked it last Friday, it's so cool haha, must check that out

  • @kaplan1616 no i really want to poke it

  • @balana955 IK! I WANNA LIKE PUT SOME IN THE PALM OF MY HAND AND PUT A MAGNET UNDER MY HAND AND SEE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO HOLD IT TOO! OMG!

  • It is more beautiful than any woman I've ever had. Perfection, I would totally bang.

  • lol!

  • @heylookatmeok you would bang a fluid? thats sick

  • @heylookatmeok lol that's unfortunate for you

  • @Byaaaaaaaa Must have been some ugly bitches then :')

  • @heylookatmeok hahahahahahaha good.

  • @heylookatmeok it was like a year ago u posted this but, u would get a black cock if u did :P

  • Sonic the hedgehog !

  • Youtube streams HD content at 720p idiots.

  • O.O

  • o.O

  • how does viewing it fullscreen change the physical dimensions of the video????

  • looks very good. nice light.

  • it looks like it's floating. and now that i think about it, it should be possible to use ions to keep a sphere static in mid air, and inside it have a battery and some pretty cool coils, bathe it in ferrofluid and voila. you got your floating ferrofliud sculpture.

and yes i know this is probably using a mirror to simulate the other half. or it could be computer rendered

  • who gives a shit, ferrofluid is sweet!!!!!

  • Youtube's HD is 720p, you're supposed to view it FULLSCREEN!

  • its 480p not 720p

    thats youtube's "HD"

  • youtubes HD is 720p

    fail

  • rofl

    dude, its 480p

make a screenshot, seperate the video window, save it, and hold ur mouse over that pic

the small information coming up than tells u that its 480x852

    or:

open a real 720p video and compare it...

    heavy fail....

  • The player is that size, because 720p is too large for a webpage. But what about the actual video? YT is advertising that they are 720p. Maybe if you enable fullscreen, you'll have a 720p vid.

  • I really need to see some of this in real life :/

  • Why would I want to see the same thing spinning around?... Boring...

  • beautiful.looks amazing on HD.

  • Thats pretty beautiful if i must say so myself.

  • It's great:D:D

  • You should add a sweet music to this video. It would be perfect

  • sweeet.

    boring but sweet :D

    and yay first comment :D

  • if the buffering icon is freaking out, just fast forward a bit.
