chilled its cause when you step on the pressure plate it stays down for a little bit right until the red light so the door closes its a game thing so the puzzle basically is broken

Teamwork. One was meant to be the lookout, one was meant to focus and not hit the plates. Lookout says when to go. When the guy makes it, he takes the path back, opens the door, and gets his partner to the second set of plates that open the door to freedom.
