This was my favorite song - Saw Mireille @ National Art Centre in Ottawa.

I vividly remember being moved to the core and crying my eyes out while she sang this sad sad song. I idolized Mireille for so many years. So full of genuine emotions.

Could you tell me... is it true that her fiance married her sister? and when she sang "Qu'elle est belle" she was singing about them? Wish I knew if this is true!

Thank you so much for posting and sharing... It brought me back to my twenties.

Reeeeeeeebuscando en el baúl de los recuerdos, muy muy abajo, he encontrado una de las grandes canciones de finales de los 60 por su melodía y letra. Esta es la versión que Mireille Mathieu hizo, con la que se dió a conocer en Francia. Gran éxito en el Festival de San Remo del tenor Claudio Villa. Excelente la versión.

She just lights-up when she has a good band behind her. I've seen her in the studio and she is intense. Out in public she is a star. In all the live concerts I can count on one hand where her voice failed her, but even with squeeks she is adorable. I don't say that often about singers. Obviously I adore her and her family.
