Always listened to the Friday rock show with my brother in my early teens and remember listening to this song back then. I had it on a cassette with the track 'Grendel' by Marillion and Lost Horizons by MSG amongst others. For years I have been trying to remember the name of the song and group and found it today. Fantastic. This is the exact recording as I knew those guitar leads off by heart.
I am so sorry that Phil Kennemore died. Those are the people who need to be remembered on Memorial Day. He and Cliff Burton and many other musicians and artists who really helped to bring love and peace into the world. The rebels, shakers, all those who stand up for freedom of expression and for world peace.
jesus! i must have been living on the f'kin moon! didnt realise phil was deceased. yeah. sad sad day. he was a stallwart of the band. this is their best song, by far.
An awesome ballad! There was a live video performance of this from Reading 82 but it was taken down. Shame cos it was even better than this version, which takes some doing. Can't find it anywhere now. Bummer!
first concert i went to back in 1975 they opened for journey.before steve perry .still the best show i ever went to.wow what a kick ass show.neal was on fire.

They say that you should never meet your heros, but Dave Meniketti and Phill Kennemore are the exceptions. Thanks guys for such great memories.

The most beautiful ballad of metal rock. And I heard a lot in 25 years of listening... With "Still in love with you" by Thin Lizzy...
