this game is awesome. i played it since the first one. Finally have new game!! maybe i can play the forth again after i finish the third while waiting for this.
I want to see a mech game that gives you in depth customization options for your mech as well as a killer 1st and 3rd person combat system - with a complex control scheme with real time gameplay mechanics (on par with such games as Halo or Killzone 2) - and to top it all off - an awesome storyline, quality voice acting and music.
I know it's probably never going to happen but I can dream about it at least.

any way don't knock it before you try it, it maybe really good. its all this bashing before the games get released is why japan keeps half the games they make in japan.
give them a chance buddy, doesnt look truly terrible yet...and it may explain itself in the story..im sure they had to make the wanzers better if theyre making this story XX years after 3 and 4

Front Mission for the SNES was awesome. BUT it was a turn based tactical strategy game with light RPG elements... Why not go that way instead of flooding the market with another cookie cutter mech-shooter?
i could be wrong but in the newest x box mag that showed mass effect 2 had an article about FME. they said that this is not likely to take the regular tactic game that the original was. its supost to be a shooter like armored core. thats what i heard anyway. im still going to buy it though. for sure....
Y'know, Sqare Enix is hard @ work making NEVER ENDING Final Fantasy sequels, NOW they make a new front mission game catering to the fans of the classic franchise on the SNES and playstation. This is fine, but when Coultless fans kept begging for a Chrono Trigger sequel, they went and gave them Chrono Trigger DS, more of the same. Square Enix is slowly losing my respect !
LOL! Looks like the graphics in this needs some major touch ups. As if Square-Enix got lazy on the textures of the game. That they lose focus of this production, since they are currently developing FFXIII, FFXIII VS. and FFXIV.

THIS ISNT ARMOURED CORE, this is tred-mechs like u find in Mechwarrior with heavy duty thrusters and TOTAL customizable mechs, like in MechWarrior2

Somehow this looks sucky....It's very much of a letdown, the cinematics sucked a lot compared to the previous older series.
The title design doesn't even feel like it's Front Mission.
Maybe it's thanks to Double Helix's 'intrusion'? Bad choice Squeenix, you screwed up another of my favourite series...
