We really like doing rent to own because we get better tenants that take better care of the home (and call us less!), we can make better cash flow on the property which is important to us because we live on the cash flow from our properties, and we are able to help people who are new to the country, self employed, divorcing etc that aren't able to qualify for a mortgage right now.
The worst thing that can happen in our mind is that our tenant doesn't buy the home. We try to avoid that.

Julie - why are you doing rent to own? Hoping they won't close so you can re-rent and keep the option consideration?.....
