How to swap positions with enemies?

there's a way to skip some of level 10, by tricking the guard 2 screens to the right from the entrance.

first jump up to make him turn around and away from the ledge, then walk to avoid making him turn around towards the ledge again.

after that climb up and hit him in the back.

the fastest way to get past the first guard is jump through it? not sure is a bug or wat, there was once where i was really frustrated only the first level and decide to attempt suicide by charging and jumpring towards the guard which eventually jump over and straight towards exit.

There is a bug that lets you get +1 X2 on level 3. What you have to do is go and get the +1 the first time, then get through the gate and commit suicide. Then once you come back you will be in the same place, then go and open the door and go all the way back down the bottom of the screen and get it for a 2nd time.

I dont know if this bug is well known, but you can kill jaffar without using your sword.

Try it: just go through the slate. Jaffar draw his sword. Your character draw his sword too. Just leave the battle and jump through the hole. Jaffar will go and stop at the limit of the hole.

Just walk in front of the hole, at the limit. And wait for the right moment to jump forward. If you dont get hit by jaffar, he falls and die.

I completed this game on Amiga in my childhood without any cheats in 60 min, but i took me couple of years. I remember when noone of my friends could kill the boss in lev. 5 I was first who did it. We called this boss fatman :D

Maybe slightly quicker yeah. :) but to be specific you need to crouch and then be rising to your feet as the tile falls on you to avoid any damage. If a tile hits you while you are crouched you loose 2 lives!

you just quickly walk towards the person you are fightning. He won't be able to hit you while you are doing it.

Not really correct. You HAVE to have your sword drawn, which you didn't mention. But presumably you meant that coz approaching an enemy without your sword drawn would result in instant death. But even with your sword you can still be hit and killed if the enemy gets in enough blows. You need to advance quickly, but also block every attack on you or you'll go nowhere.

There is a faster way to avoid falling slabs : poke them, then crouch down and stand up immediately : the slab will fall on you whilst you're standing up without hurting you. Well done anyway, my best time is 28:56!
