excelente tema y excelente organista,ni que decir de ese bello organo wersi louvre, toda una orquesta lastima que no este el comienso de ese tema, parece ser un western clasico y lo clasico es algo que nunca muere a traves de los tiempos
Heey a Wersi OAS instrument! Look for stunning and unique sounds at the SFK soundpacks. Also made for Wersi OAS instruments. Take a peek at soundsforkeys dot c o m
I think the first gimmick on an organ was AOC and Alan Haven quite rightly used it a lot. Brett is a nice straight player in the Wunderlich tradition. My favourite of all time was Harry Stoneham. The album Two Fellas to Follow an absolute classic. Closely followed by Haven who who had a more untidy style. I do wish some of todays organists were more jazzy but the fact anyone is playing at all is a bonus. Lets support those playing the organ not criticise. Keep up the good work Brett.
@MrGilly, you are 100% correct, but the problem is that organists who really are good don't get appreciated because of clowns like Klaus Wunderlich who made 152 albums and every one sold more than a million copies! The organ is now stigmatized because of idiots like this one. I promise you that if you heard some old Haven or McGriff stuff you'd love it. Sadly even these great players started to bend to public demand. Even when you've got soul you've got to eat!
I've appeared a number of times where Alan Haven has also been playing and I can honestly say that he is one of the best Jazz organists. Saying that the last time I saw him in the UK it was at an Organ/Keyboard festival and he was backing his usual great female vocalist Karen Elle and they were performing a programme of pop classic hits such as Dirty Dancing's "I've had the time of my life". Not his usual bag but I guess we all have to make a living.
@Bigdaddybrett, glad to know you appreciate the good stuff. I've got some rare Haven tracks (about nine or so) that were only broadcast on radio during the '60's and '70's, some Lowrey Heritage with Tony Crombie and some Viscount/ARP with Robin Jones/Tony Uter. I have prepared them for youtube but haven't got round to posting them up yet. When I do, I'll give you the heads-up. At his best he really was a remarkable player and one things for sure, there was nobody like him. Cheers.
Interesting? No, just some song I do pre-record the bassline to make to song sound better as some basslines are impossible to play with 1 or 2 feet and I sooner it sound good and like a bass player played it rather than it sound like an organ bass player playing it. Recorded all by myself so I don't see no probs there.
Klaus Wunderlich lives !!

On the other side Wunderlich made a career out of playing "Cheesey Pop" and died a millionaire.

Interesting. I also noticed that when I saw Claudia Hirschfeld play her Wersi. The bass line was obviously prerecorded.
