Dude,I listened to this like 3 times to try and see what everybdoy meant by this being some badass guitar playing and one even said it capured some of Johnny's licks,not..Dude,you're all over the place, you shot your wad and showed me every thing you have in one 4 minute solo. The begiinning is slop,There's no structure, beginning middle or end.Hit the shed, pal and remember you're trying to tell me a story not show me how many notes you can play
Thank You...Thank You...Thank You. The rock and roll hybrid of Delta style blues and rock always makes my feet start dancing. You are very talented and the nod to JW is a great tribute.
I gotta watch this every now & then for inpsriration! :) If it's the clothes that turms ya on, go check out the Johnny Winter Experience. It took about halfway thru the first clip before it dawned on me they were impersonators!
This here is just straight up great playing. Johnny Winter would be honoured to hear this!
great...lame ass comments from mtv hoopleheads. if ya wanna fashion show, go to paris. these guys are good, and they are preserving jdwIII's legacy. motherfuckers can wear budgie smugglers for all i care.
awesomesix has the right, u have to get the communication of the blues, don't have to be fast. You have to find spaces to run over thr frets. Good analysis awesomesix.
Ferocious! You kind of remind me of Coco Montoya when he was younger. Great chops, and I dig your tone. Is that one of those Rushmore strats? What's your rig?
Hats off to your most excellent band, as well. Best of luck to you all!
where did this dude come from / dont worry about playing other peoples shit run with it my man youve got real guitar talent you are good dude focus on blues nothing but/
you need to play less notes and with more emotion. Less is good. Playing a lot of licks one after another is not emotion. Listeners need time to understand your phrase and appreciate it.
Having that said kudos to your talent in playing the way you do. Keep it up
that is subjective to the solo or song , attitude of the phrasing agony vs dexterity authority plus improvisation following the path of call and response like all blues players do ! playing fast is not the point neither is playing slow it's all about communication in the improv no bad notes or wrong out of key stuff ! Bb king's version is slow on the solo for instance !
I'm a friend of Johnny Winter's and of course a long time fan. Johnny Tsak, you are fantastic and I hope you get worldwide recognition. Where are you based out of and do you play in L.A. at all?
you are the only guy I've ever heard actually pull of some of Winter's licks!...kudos to you.....I like how made tribute to Johnny without ripping him off! ....awesome playing!
Holy-fookin-Christ dude!!!! You got my backbone tingling! I have never heard of you, but you can be sure that I will track down anything you have out and tell anybody and everybody about you! I am near speechless, and I am VERY picky about Blues guitarists.
