  • Nothing but good things to say here, One important lesson; If you can't tie your emotions to your fingers and guitar you can't possibly excel at anything you do. I've caught John Huey up close shedding a tear playing "Look at Us" on the steel at the station Inn in Nashville.

Great player tie their hearts into what they do, that is common amongst the top of the line players. Keep up the great work Sara.

  • As an amateur steel player, I can only say what a beautiful interpretation of "My Elusive Dreams"I have heard in a long time.. I remember hearing Sarah Jory when she was about 12 years old when she sounded just like LLoyd Green..How she has created her own sound. Great!

  • Sarah is a great player and a good friend

  • however, hands down this is a niice vid and piece. Thank You for this..KR

  • Cool Sounds , good player

  • Sara is an amazing performer and a great lady... She has a very sweet disposition and no ego

  • And she has great jugs too!

  • Nice bewbies :-)

  • Elusive Dreams ..

  • Loved it. I play guitar, pedal steel, mandolin , banjo etc. I saw Barbara Mandrell play and she was awesome. She also played guitar and mandolin at the same time with another guy in the band.

  • First class Great job

  • moi j'aime bien ce son

  • You go girl!!

  • Somebody objected to her 'body language' and why she 'makes such faces'? It is because she is ONE with the music, the way it should be done, just an instrument that is an extension of her feeling and passion. Her playing is not mechanical, but full of emotion. I can't do it myself, but I can sure tell how good she is. Bravo.

  • fuck yeah, shes a bad ass

  • Nice tits!

  • Sarah,

your playing is as beautiful as you are

  • Beautiful music by a beautiful woman, but how does she do it in high heels? Most women have trouble walking, this girl walks all over that pedel steel. Thanks for posting.

  • For some reason, i was getting Mark Chesnutt's " Old Country "out of the first tune.

I guess it shows how the mind interprets things.

  • best for last, that piece at the end. marvelous, put me in the best mood I've been in days: introspection. thanks

  • Sarah is so awesome... beautiful woman and perfect pedal steel player. I just love her.

  • Wonderful. Bet you could make beautiful Hawaiian music by changing the tuning a little. Would love to hear you do that someday.

  • the ending was so beautiful

  • @quinsedlethorpid The last part of the video is a tune from the movie "Once Upon A Time In The West". Sergio Leone's masterpiece western.

  • @quinsedlethorpid Music by Ennio Morricone.

  • OMG!!!! This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! This lady can play!!

  • Great playing. Really enjoy it. Pity pedal steels are so damned expensive.

  • My Elusive dreams haha I know what she means...er something...

  • Jesus, never thought you'd play that ugly thing like that. My teacher has one, but oh, it's so ugly to look at, and hear it get played. OMFG.

  • ABSOLUTELY Amazing... your playing TRULY gives me chills... I am a HUGE longtime fan of Mike Johnson (Nasheville), Weldon Myrick, Pig Robbins, Tiny from Gene's band, and others, YOU GAL are VERY VERY TALENTED and right up there with them... WOW...

  • YOU ARE SO SO COOL

  • haaaaai.your tone

  • Never heard of her but that girl can play. Very well done.

  • there's nothing like a good looking woman playing the steel guitar and you are great.

  • Beautiful Sarah, absolutely beautiful. Go Sarah.

  • it's really great !! I'm new to PSG and the first piece sounded very "David Gilmourian" to me - no offense intended to Ms Jorry, no doubts that she is a great player with her own style.

  • is sarah from london im wondering

    great music

  • sarah come from exeter, devon, i was in her class at school, st thomas high school, never a friend of mine, i just knew her and she was in my school year photos 1985 and 1986, she use to play in the school jazz band

  • My father played like this, Thank You. So beautiful when you can see it comes from the heart. Pure talent.

  • oh dear! @ tat and electri....lol

  • Looks like she's got nice tits too.

  • I think you mean great tits.

  • I love Sarah's playing. She's obviously devoted a large part of her life to mastering the PSG, but she's a true musician who would be great at whatever instrument she learnt to play.

  • Not to detract from ANY of the great

female steel players.....but, I think the

best, of the Best.....was (still is ) Donna

Hammitt......nobody played with the "feeling" that she did.....and a real

sweetheart of a human being, to.

She got married, has a family now....and nobody hears her playing very much.....publicly, anymore....she

backed up Bill Anderson for a while.

We all miss her...and her playing.

  • Is there a place where I could bu an album ?

  • What a great ear! She puts 95% of all male steel players to complete shame! I never thought I'd ever hear someone who playing resembles Tommy Detamore so closely. Keep it up. . . simply beautiful. The high heels get extra points.

  • This is still amazing to listen to!!

  • thats a talented, pretty country gal right there.i love it.

  • What a class act. To bad she is now doing rock. With her ability she needs to stay with the steel. I hope she make it to the Steel Convention in St. Louis in 09'

  • What

  • love to see her playing naked!!!!!!!!!

  • yes pleaz

  • I think I watched all her video on youtube, I wish I could see even just one of her live performance, I would be so happy for the rest of my life.

  • its a joke get over it. you play like this it doesnt matter if you have to heads. beautiful gives me goose bumps

  • I love the sound of the steel guitar. She's really good!

Btw, who cares what she looks like or wears, it's about the music. If you wanna see tits, sign into youporn or tube8.

  • god thats beautiful. what a healthy women.like to see her in person. to hear her play not to look at her or maybe both

  • "My Elusive Dreams" is the song. She is SOOO Good! Love the Heels. I have trouble with shoes and have to wear boots to get it right on the pedals!!!!

  • wow

i've just recently fallen in love with this instrument

i just love the feel of the whole sound :]

i just breathes so much easier than a regular guitar

  • Does anyone know what song this is?? It sounds amazing!!

  • you break my heart. we have to jam

  • love it

  • She plays great. She's showing some skin, she may be stoned, she may be half crazy. All that's just icing on the cake.

  • Oh grow up. She's playing in Ireland, not Iran or the Bible Belt, and she's from a country that's able to be adult about the human body. Anyway, it's a proven fact that musical instruments love boobies.

  • @Sammyboy72 So do musicians LOL~~

  • 100 Monopoly Bucks She Is Stoned

  • great instrument!

  • i could listen this women all day long she is a realay perfect stell pleyer beleive me tizoune89 i realy love to here her play

  • Simply Beautiful.. Bobby Black & Toy Caldwell

    are my favorites......GW

  • You must not have heard of Footie Covington...Try typing that in on ya youtube search...She's good but he's another one of THE best...

  • one of the greatest steel players I have ever heard. Since I am from Nashville , I have heard all the top players. Sara is a top steel player

  • i am surprised how perfect she is

  • she plays in those heels! love it!

  • i could listen to her all night.

  • I saw her when one of the strings snapped. . . caught caught on her bra strap. . . but she kept playing like a goodun!! Needed something to brighten up the solo!

  • Well, everybody's gotta have some type of

'gimmick' seein' how cut-throat the music

    business is...and that ain't a bad gimmick

    at all.

  • moucon, I have to "challenge" you a little bit with your statement. I play pedal steel too, and I saw her at one of the Dallas steel guitar shows with Buddy Emmons and her on the same stage. I turned my back and I couldn't tell who was playing for a few seconds, her or Buddy. That's all I've got to say. Marc Trainor.

  • You tell´m Marc!...Mickey

  • Singlpilot, that's a true story. I had gone to one of the Dallas Steel shows quite a while back, and they had her and Buddy on the same stage together. I was recording that show, and may still have a copy of it, I'm not sure, but I swear to God, I literally turned around to do something for a few minutes, and I remember thinking to my self, later: I don't know who was playing during that time Buddy or Sarah. To me she's that good. Marc.

  • Imagine Jim Reeves or Slim Whitman singing with this steel behind them.

  • @telelite

Jim Reeves first recording on Epic - I love you because is accompanied with steelguitar. I have the vinyl lp.

    ThM - Norway.

  • That sounds like "My Ellusive Dreams" ... is it? Absolutely beautiful!!!

  • It's been two months since you asked, but yes that's "My Elusive Dreams".

  • yeah GREAT MUSIC if yer into fallin asleep in bars she is fit though

  • Hi Sarah,

Great Playing, a lot of Talent indeep. All the very best to you God bless.

    Your Friend,

    Tommy Burnside

  • she,s fantastic she always has a full house when she plays here and yes its a Big Venue.Steel Guitar brill...Guitar Solo out of this world .....such a talented lady.....

  • she is good right

  • Man...1:16 thru 1:26 is just a killer passage.

  • Nice Cleavage

  • Saw her @ Manchester(03/27/08) with Van.I'm the all time VM fan but she was the star of the show!

  • She sounds good.

  • @Labeumann... you suck.

  • Awesome talent, this video reminds me of steel solos at Cowgar Music in the mid 70's. Billy Clark, Freeman Cowgar, and Paul Franklin, and others would play for hours on end, creating and duplicating the sounds of other steel artist's. Sarah is a GEM....I hope she continues to share her fantastic sound.

  • No, get it right.....she blows. Barbara Mandrell she ain't.

  • What are you? like 10 year old? Get house before you mother kicks you little skinny ass.. She needs to teach you a little respect if she dont I am sure plenty here will..

  • really sweet sounds! This is mighty sweet steel.

  • B@@BIES! This sounds hawaiian and it's putting me to sleep!

  • Why doesn't she have more videos up?

  • she's good!

  • she's good!

  • What was that melody at the end? Was that Ennio Morricone?

  • To me, it sounded like 'My Elusive Dream'

  • That was great!

  • Wow! Pedal steel guitar sounds nice!

I think there also have been used pedal steel guitar, but not as a solo instrument, more like as a flavour:

    Husky Rescue City Lights

  • Amazing!!!!could we get her and mark knopfler together?I dont think i would want that concert to end!

  • Paul Franklin does a good enough job with Mark.

  • I think thats a wicked idea Joe, there are so many tracks he doesnt do because the steel isnt there and it would make the track impossible (On Every St for instance). Would love to see Sarah tour with him like PF did.

  • Loved her banjo on"Bright Side Of The Road"-Van at Sheffield 25/1/08

  • Be a good sport and Mary me Dear. Love YOU.

  • Good on you Sarah

  • God, what a player, and one of the few women I've seen playing the instrument. I saw here at an old Dallas show, where she sat on the same stage with Buddy Emmons, and seemed to keep up with him pretty darn good. What a player. Marc Trainor.

  • pretty woman , pretty sounds

  • My Elusive Dreams reach a new high score

What else is there to say except for

    Keep up the good work

  • Best stringed instrumnt EVER

  • magnum guitars are made by Carter in the USA
