Haha! I have a lab and he does that too... I'll tell him 'lay down' and he'll just roll over on his back! Weirdo dogs.

my dog is just like that but hes half pitbull and half dalmation and hes 10 weeks old he learned how to sit in like 20 mins and now he does it every time but i think the dead trick is to advanced right now

I like to ask him questions infront of people and then use that signal! i have a friend that always comes over and passes out drunk on the couch. so when he comes over i ask louie, "what does so in so do when he comes over?" and louie falls on the floor! it's hillarious! or "would you rather go to the vet and get a check up, or be dead?" and again, he falls over dead! hahahaha
