ok, still doesnt run smooth on my eee pc 1000h... tried it with the preinstalled XP and a nlited version of XP... not playable at all!
No problems on my desktop, so it cant be my (wired) internet-connection.

for best compatibility with between intel gma and counterstrike source type -dxlevel 70 into advanced launch options, this works for other steam games also. im currently playing cs:s :)

I've bought a Eee Pc 1000H, but cant get cs 1.6 to work properly. I freeze every ~10 seconds, but the environment (including the other players) keep on moving fine...

CS was/is the most popular online FPS. If you haven't played it, highly recommend you do at least once.
