Guys, Heath Ledger was the main reason The Dark Knight was so amazing. Everything else was exactly the same: A new bat vehicle, Scarecrow played by Cillian Murphy, same actors except Katie Holmes (not sure if thats spelled right) was replaced by a less attractive & talented Maggie Gyllenhal, No one even cared about Two-Face and Morgan Freeman was seldom seen. It felt like more of a Joker film than a Batman movie.

Great film overall but I prefer Batman Begins and the original three films.

Just adding I cant stand Bale's Batvoice,the joker was not scary when the scary stop was just the pencil and the rest of the scenes were not shown,the plot was predictable,less action,Katie had more class and grace than slutty Maggie who looks so old and ugly.

No chemistry with anyone.

Its very good but not a masterpiece at all. You mentioned Black Hawk Down and I loved that movie better(plus nonstop action),TDK was more of a psych 101 than a superhero action film. I still think Superman 1-2,Spiderman 1-2,Batman Begins and Iron Man holds are just as equally good as TDK.

Ledger rocks but its overreaction of his death that some worship him.
