Have you ever used Berkley fire line . i have just bought some 20lb test for sea spinning. They said it is the same diameter as 6lb mono. But its kind of stiff and seems quite thick

I can get a 150 yard cast with a 10ft rod. Maybe because I'm 6'5".

@Skillzzz9 you would be able to cast a lot further with a 12 or 13 foot rod,the arc the tip of a longer rod 'describes' would add a lot of distance to your cast...

one question : does multipliers always give u bigger distance than spool reels?..lets say casting from the same person therefore nOt including skills..

@stUSsy0o15 i have a fixed spool and a multiplier and i find an extra 50yards on the multiplier but that is on a 14ft rod instead of the 12 foot fixed spool...but i think it makes a big difference and there so much nicer to use

Hi there

The rods in the film are from 12ft to 13 ft.

10ft will be too short for best casting distance. A lot depends on your height and build, if you can compress a 13 ft rod go for it! Personally I'm 5ft 10 so a 12 ft rod suits me best.
