I appreciate the constructive criticism, but I must disagree with you. I believe that in most cases it is important to introduce the song and/or explain why you like it, etc. And, as in this case, to show a little personality. After all, this is not an audition, but a performance.

@jamesdupremusic Exactly James! I hate when singers just stand up in front of the mic and sing without any other interaction with the audience. I saw Alan once and he was particularly bad at interacting with the audience which was a huge disapointment.
