I am a Chevy guy and owned an F-Body for a while but I have to say that I am dissapointed in the chinsy look of the new Camaros. They look overly plastic-y and cheap both inside and out and the rear of the car does not look good at all. The stance looks weird as well like a house boat on little wheels. Yep,that's why GM needed the bail out. Nothing changed. Toyota even with the whole scandal is still outselling GM and Chrysler. Plus, the 2011 Mustang's are faster than the Camaro's, and gets better reviews. However, the Camaro is more aggressive looking, and is better when it comes to looks, and paintjobs.

great car, but I dont like the gauges, the two main displays look like if No5, the robot, is staring at you...please GM do a bit more on the gauges and frontpanel. The car is a wonderful design, and the engines are always typical wonderful...the sound is brilliant...again only the front-panel with the robot-eye looks I dislike

I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I like it... the exterior. Nicely designed. The interior looks extremely cheap, like a 1980's version of a future car. These car have always been more about big engines than refinement & it's reflected in the pretty reasonable price. So, there's something for everyone.

So, I'm looking at this car because it seems to be good value for the horse-power. But being a businessman, I can't pull up to meetings in this car. I'm forced to stick to Mercedes/BMW or some Japanese car.
Any other ideas on good American muscle (300hp/torque) that is a little more refined?
As far as value gets with this car, you won't get anything better, at 305 HP (base camaro V6) it's an excellent deal. You can get comparable Mustang/Challengers at same prices, but nothing that would fit the 'buisness' means. You can try the Ford Taurus SHO which boasts 365 HP and 350 lb. per foot of torque.
car looks great but there are a few problems... if you are above 6 ft tall its cramped to say the leas there is no way and I am 6'3 that anybody could sit behind the driver blind spots are everywhere... BUT it is a camaro

thats what you may think, but it is actually pretty cool, if you ask alot of people. I love it all. The car is wonderfully unique on the inside, which fits well with the unique outside. But it is very fast and outsanding on the road.

yeah, actually my brother owns one lol. I would say this in a better format. The interior is Different than what most of us expected. I have been in both a new GT500 and a Camaro. I agree, that the interior of the mustangs are beautiful, hard to beat. But that passenger seat of the Camaro has so much more space, luxorius! The back seat is comfortable, other than the front seats are taking your leg room. The lighting is better in the Camaro tho lol.
yeah, I would recommend the 2SS RS package, thats what its all about. Also, take the Governor out, it makes the top speed go from 155 to almost 200 mph stock!

@RealDeal336 Its preference really. I have seen women drive Camaro's too, and even Challengers. All three are masculine in their own way. Plus, the 2011 Mustang's are faster than the Camaro's, and gets better reviews. However, the Camaro is more aggressive looking, and is better when it comes to looks, and paintjobs.

@RealDeal336 The new Camaro is ugly as hell. The new mustang looks hot. A little resemblance to the 60's style. While the Camaro looks like the cobalt or something. Looks nothing like the older style. Horrible choice plus a mustang will walk all over this thing in a race. Has a bigger motor but is much heavier and slower.

great car, but I dont like the gauges, the two main displays look like if No5, the robot, is staring at you...please GM do a bit more on the gauges and frontpanel. The car is a wonderful design, and the engines are always typical wonderful...the sound is brilliant...again only the front-panel with the robot-eye looks I dislike

if you had a route planned it wuld be on there,but i dislike digital very much,easy on the eyes,but a strain on the pocket when it goes wrong(which it will)thats why they put it there,so you got more things that can fuck up and more reasons to spend money

I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I like it... the exterior. Nicely designed. The interior looks extremely cheap, like a 1980's version of a future car. These car have always been more about big engines than refinement & it's reflected in the pretty reasonable price. So, there's something for everyone.

So, I'm looking at this car because it seems to be good value for the horse-power. But being a businessman, I can't pull up to meetings in this car. I'm forced to stick to Mercedes/BMW or some Japanese car.
Any other ideas on good American muscle (300hp/torque) that is a little more refined?

As far as value gets with this car, you won't get anything better, at 305 HP (base camaro V6) it's an excellent deal. You can get comparable Mustang/Challengers at same prices, but nothing that would fit the 'buisness' means. You can try the Ford Taurus SHO which boasts 365 HP and 350 lb. per foot of torque.

car looks great but there are a few problems... if you are above 6 ft tall its cramped to say the leas there is no way and I am 6'3 that anybody could sit behind the driver blind spots are everywhere... BUT it is a camaro

thats what you may think, but it is actually pretty cool, if you ask alot of people. I love it all. The car is wonderfully unique on the inside, which fits well with the unique outside. But it is very fast and outsanding on the road.

I respect ur opinion i really do :) but the v6 i dont know about tht :L i didnt drove it really ! but i can say tht the SS and 2SS r sweet when it comes to hitting the road ,the look is cool but the interior its really cheap ! and horrible (am not saying this becuz i own a mustang ! :) overall its a fact and i hate saying this its not tht good >the car is sweet and gorgeous overall (((and i think u own 1 right ;D )))

yeah, actually my brother owns one lol. I would say this in a better format. The interior is Different than what most of us expected. I have been in both a new GT500 and a Camaro. I agree, that the interior of the mustangs are beautiful, hard to beat. But that passenger seat of the Camaro has so much more space, luxorius! The back seat is comfortable, other than the front seats are taking your leg room. The lighting is better in the Camaro tho lol.

yeah, I would recommend the 2SS RS package, thats what its all about. Also, take the Governor out, it makes the top speed go from 155 to almost 200 mph stock!
