@cauhbangs it's a love song w/lots of symbolism. but Kalipolina (Kalipoli na) was written by Tu'imala Kaho, one of the most famous Tongan songwriters and composers. But she is using the Battle of Gallipoli (yes, Napoleon's Battle of Gallipoli) as a symbolic reference of how her love she has is so painful that it would be sweeter to be in battle ("oiaue he me'a fkmamahi, ifo leva 'a kalipoli na") ...that's the gist of it. explaining the rest is a lot lol.

@miakolo07 If you dont mind me correcting you this song infact was not written or composed by Tu'imala Kaho who is the composer of many amazing Tongan songs. This song was actually written by Salesi Manoa Havea who was Minister of Police in Tonga in the 1960s.
