I created my own HQ clear video. shows in better quality and also its alot shorter 8 Mins. I also go over errors and how to fix, and this is for installing on newer computers with 32 or 64 bit operating systems. I made it a bit more clear and also alot more to the point. Or you could probably just keep the .exe file inside system32 and then make a complete pathing for that (C:\WINDOWS\system32\forcebind­ip.exe)

I can't really remember. I gotta check what exactly we did next time i visit him.

I'm guessing this is the problem most people is getting. It's the one I get the most anyways.

A problem that can sometimes occur with ForceBindIP is that your path sometimes seems to be wrong. I've seen it happen on two friends computers, both with Windows Vista. Sometimes, it appears that the path of the shortcut is wrong. I fixed it one of the times where me and my friends had this problem. If i recall correctly, all i did was get the manual install of ForcebindIP (look at the site in the video description) and put the EXE file outside of system32, while putting the .dll file inside.

ok here's my situation. Friend A owns Starcraft. Friend B is downloading Starcraft onto his own computer using A's CD's and CD key at his house at a different location. How can A and B play together?

I get a "unable to initialize network provider" every time, and then I try again and it doesn't even attempt to go into it or tell me the error. Is there something wrong with my comp like a firewall maybe? hamachi and forcebindip is supposed to be firewall free, but then again windows firewall is easy to get by.

My only guess is that wireless has something to do with it.

To those of you having problems:

"%windir%\system32\forcebindip­. exe" is not correct. If you just type in forcebindip.exe, that should work (does for me). Also, make sure that you are Hamachi v. 1.0.2.1

The true path you should make in your shortcut is:

forcebindip.exe YOUR_HAMACHI_IP HERE "YOUR_STARCRAFT.EXE PATH HERE"

note the quotationmarks at the starcraft.exe path

I'm using Hamachi to play Starcraft with my friend. I can get into the UDP section of Starcraft, but he can't. It says "Unable to initalize network provider.". We are using Forcebindip aswell. Anyone had any familiar problems with this? He has tried older versions of Hamachi too. I use Hamachi version 1.0.1.5. Something to do with his Firewall?
