Saw Caleb January 21, 2012 at Music at the Mission, in West Milford, N.J. with three other featured groups. All were different and wonderful! This song "Seeing Colors" is one of only a few songs in my half century + ten that immediately has the classic, can never tire of the performance or the meaning kind of song. All round Caleb is Golden and his CD I bought that night has other really fine originals, some real fun, most real true. He's super individual and yet sings/writes for us all!
I adore this song! Caleb's voice just hits your soul. I've grown up going to a folk music festival (think Woodstock but smaller) and Caleb played there as a part of the singers in the round before his stint on Idol and he was back this past summer :) He is sooo amazing live
Caleb-you have talent-bring back Cat steven-Doly Parton song writing- I see you didnt get on AI but I hope you continue to explore your talent and gift- You are unique-Fame is is such a strange thing-luck-still "God bless the child "with " passion
I've known this song for a while now, but today when I was listening to it again, somehow the lyrics hit me with a new depth. "When you're grown up like I am, I don't want there to be others."
This is one of my favorite songs, not only by Caleb, but overall. I love this song. Also, on American Idol, I noticed Caleb did not get much air time. The ones that seem to get the air time are those that were all dramatic. Caleb was just himself. I've listened to Caleb ever since he left York College and have been amazed by him ever since.
If he got cut during Hollywood rounds I know why it happened.
THe producers didn´t want this year a white guy who plays guitar to win again after the last two winners. If you ask me he waaaay more talented than Kris Allen and Lee Dewyze. What a shame.. I guess he auditioned the wrong year.
Steven loved him though. I hope he auditions next year again. He is special.
I hope some producer grabs him and signs him to a label.
@TheAnita99 Is that seriously what happened??? That's really unfortunate. It just shows that the producers care more about the tv ratings than the actual vocal abilities of the singers.

He can play the pants off the guitar, sing like a dove and write melodies and lyrics that stand up to anything John Mayer can write. Now maybe is Amer Idol appearance will get him heard.
