Does anyone have an English Translation of this? I am not a Muslim but just returned from travelling from Islamic countrys and feel a deep attraction to Islam. I keep listening to this prayer over and over and can feel something strong inside.

The Ambiya are alive is that on the night of Me'raj, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) passed by Sayyiduna Moosa (alaihis salaam). He saw him in his grave standing and reading his Salaah.

@Factszz Arabic can not be translated literally. The reason is that a word in arabic can have many meanings. Sometimes more than 50.It depends on the Siyaaq and Sabaaq (context), the time of revelation, the previous verses and next verses which exact word to use.
For example: The word Salaat.
Quran says : Wa Aqeemus Salaat ( And Offer your prayers)
You see the word Salaat has been translated here as praying.
Another Verse states: Innallaha Wamala ikatuhu Yusalluna Alan Nabi

So here it is translated as sending peace and salutaion. This is also one meaning of Salaat according to the Ulama al Lugha'h (the Masters of Arabic Grammar and Vocabulary).

Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "And how would you deny faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah and among you lives the Prophet". ALLAH would have given the Quran directly and placed it on top of a Mountain, for all to see. and its not so hard for Allah to send his book directly.

@Factszz Arabic can not be translated literally. The reason is that a word in arabic can have many meanings. Sometimes more than 50.It depends on the Siyaaq and Sabaaq (context), the time of revelation, the previous verses and next verses which exact word to use.
For example: The word Salaat.
Quran says : Wa Aqeemus Salaat ( And Offer your prayers)
You see the word Salaat has been translated here as praying.
Another Verse states: Innallaha Wamala ikatuhu Yusalluna Alan Nabi

@Factszz (Indeed Allah and all his angels send peace and salutations upon the Prophet)The word Yusalluna comes from the root word Salaat. If someone translates this as worshipping or praying than this is Kufr. Because Allah and his angels do not worship or pray to the Prophet (pbuh).
So here it is translated as sending peace and salutaion. This is also one meaning of Salaat according to the Ulama al Lugha'h (the Masters of Arabic Grammar and Vocabulary).

Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "And how would you deny faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah and among you lives the Prophet". (Sura al- ale'Imraan: 101) This is a typical Ayah proving Hayat-un-Nabi - "among you lives the Prophet". The word "lives" has cleared all doubts. "Among you" has been generalised, meaning with every individual, wherever he or she may be regardless of time.

Surely, this statement is absurd because none of us has seen Allah Ta'ala and the Angels. Kiraaman Katibeen are two Angels constantly present with every individual. Can we deny their existence merely because we did not see them?

This is one of the reasons why Quran can not be translated literally and why no scholar or great Mufassir can everr translate Quran 100% right

@Factszz I guess u do not read Hadith. because it is the saying of our Rasul (SAW). And if All the hadith has been forged and manipulated. 200 or 400 years ago. Then How do we come knw the exact way of doing salah, giving zakat, performing Hajj etc..! Allah tells us to perform Hajj, but Quran does not specify how to perform Hajj and it rituals. So if the hadith r forged then we do not knw how to perform Hajj or do salah or give zakat. cos these hadith can be wrong!So u mean, Do as u please!!

Whole Islamic law is contained in Quran. Quran is THE BEST HADITH of Allah[39:23] & also is only the AUTHENTIC HADITH OF Prophet[69:40-46]. A Sharia law tht hs no root in Quran is UnIslamic. It ws duty of all Prophets to establish laws tht R given in Bks of Allah [2:213, 5:44] & not to invent their own laws/hadiths. So when u follow Laws of Quran, u follow both, Prophet & Allah; & when u follow hadith bks tht were FABRICATED by Parsi Imams 250-400 yr aft Prophet, then U R not following prophet.

@Factszz Yes I agree that islamic law is contained in the Quran, but u have to agree to Ahadith or saying of the prophet (SAW) is where it is all explained in detail by his RASUL. That is why ALLAH sent his Rasul to explain the book of ALLAH to us. Otherwise there wouldnt be a need for a RASUL. ALLAH would have given the Quran directly and placed it on top of a Mountain, for all to see. and its not so hard for Allah to send his book directly.

Recitation of naats is like sending blessings to the Prophet salla laahu alihi wasalam in which Allah has ordered us to do.

@Factszz Acording 2the hadith that Hazrath Enes narated, Our Prophet (pbuh) when coming round Kudus (Jarusalem), He stopped at Hazrath Moses’ grave & saw him praying.(see Muslim, Fadâil,42- hadith no 164).In that hadith it is stated that Hazrath Moses is alive in his grave after thousands years.

As a matter of fact, Our Prophet (pbuh) when going up to heaven,He had seen Hazrath Abraham, Hazrath Moses and Hazrath Isa (Jesus) praying and He had served them as an imam.
