husky u are giving people false info its not your APM that makes u multiask better its your EAPM download Apm rep Info and u can see what your eapm is average low level players have like 50 eapm and like 100 apm medium like me have 200 apm+ and like 130 eapm higher level like merz have 300 apm and 180 eapm PROs have up to 250 EAPM and 400 apm

also mr husky how can u contadict yourself saying eapm wont effect how good or bad u are at the game when the player with more EAPM will clearly be able to multiask attack and build better than the low apm player so clearly it will affect how good you are not like it was in sc1 cos sc1 is much more eapm intensive and sc2 is much ezer game cos u can grab multiple like 30 units one group ezer control and also u dont have to send your drones to minerals as much so yes u dont need a much eapm in sc2

apm is worth nothing, you just pump it clicking on the workers and so... if there was some way to count the "worthy apm" then it would be awesome, and a real feat of skill, but the fact that people who have loads of apm, is like they are struggling and instead of microing they are creating more units, or focusing on that backdoor push, macroing, or just insanely clicking, like a back-shot-back-shot pattern

@H3c70rit0 yes there is a real way to tell your skill with apm DOWN (APM REP INFO) it tells u your eapm like my apm is 240+ but my eapm/real apm with no spam is 145 most players who spam apm just spam and have a low eapm but high level player like merz will have around 180 eapm and 300 apm its not all spam clicking trust me

@maxalanclark diamond league usually means nothing as the leagues are divided based on certain # of max players. Often times, I saw a lot of platinum league players owning a "high level" diamond league player simply because they didn't have time to finish all the placement matches in one go.

If one wants to grind out ladder, then one can stick to most "efficient" strat and go for high rating - winning tourneys take true skills and adaptation, which is why 1/1/1 is popular.

I love SC2, but my multitasking will never be anywhere close to top players. I have a lot of respect for those players good enough to macro AND micro well, keep track of the enemies' players build and adapt accordingly, and use the various spells and stuff that the units have effectively. I'll never be that good, but it's fun watching players who are. :)

If a player can multitask to an extreme degree, respond to his opponents attacks and tactics, or macro/micro lightning fast then he definately has an edge. That edge isn't enough to win against good players, but we're talking sharpness of a blade, not the size of the blade itself. Large or small, sharp blades are better than dull ones! : D

@DJTonyChau and yes some players have literally like 170+ EAPM WHICH MEANS THEY AINT JUST SELECTING drones and minerals again and again it means they arew making useful actions building moving and so on the pros have 210 EAPM and over 350 apm now heres the thing like i said and like u said skill is one thing but if u have skill and then u dont have the EAPM to back it up to multiask u can never be as good as higher eapm players unless u get your EAPM higher cos u need it to multitask at high lev
