loving the sound. i'm gonna be in the market for an acrylic kit. which batter head do you use on the bass drum?

@xrandolphx Thanks man, Yeah I am using super kick two's by Aquarian on the batter. It's the only bass drum head I will use. If you are in the market for a kit. Talk to Johnny C at RCI drums. @superchanneljim Thanks for the quick reply! I kinda thought it was a SK2, because of the punchy sound and controlled resonance. I love Aquarian heads. Thanks for the advice, but I live in The Netherlands, so I don't really think importing a kit from the US is such a good idea. I'm probably gonna go with Kirchhoff's Arctic series. They're from Germany, so just over the border for me and their acrylic shells are seamless which adds to their sound quality and they're affordable. Thanks anyway!

Hey man, i've been looking at some video's of Saluda Cymbals and came across yours.

this is the best one i've seen so far :) The Mist hi-hats sound beautiful and your decadence crash sounds brilliant aswell.

I'm looking to buy some saluda cymbals for my band. We are playing Thrash Metal (metallica, megadeth, evile) stuff like that. im thinking the hi-hats and crash you use in this video would sound pretty decent. do you think so, or do you have any other recommendations???

@Vendettria Thanks man. For metal or heavy playing, glory,earthworks works really well. However, mist x is a good all around cymbal. @vickyaxa Yeah man, I am a lefty. I play right handed too on some things. I was in marching band in high school so I had to be righty for that.

love the kit!!! only think im not 100% on is the snare. I play an acrylic kit as well but ended up using a ludwig black beauty instead which in my mind sounds way better

@wsdrummer06 I love black beauties too man. But when I am playing acrylic, I like playing acrylic snares too. I put a dicast hoop on the top of it since this video and it sounds way better.

Your drums have a nice sound!!!!! I love acrylic.

I think if you will buy the zoom q3 you'll have a best sound in your video, but it's however very good.
