I have to say I'm really really impressed with this. I was not playing like this when I was in high school.

And unlike some of the harsh, unnecessary criticism below me, I can be a little bit more constructive. I really think there are a lot more musical and things you can do stylistically. For instance, on the first page with the sixteenth note runs, speed the flow of your air going up to make it easier to hit. Once you get your air in complete control, it will do all the work for you :)

First of all i thought this was a very impressive performance and a job well done!! But.........I think u'll are too quick to judge his playing ability.....yes he is good...but i am 15 also and go to in arts school that i had to auditon to get in...and i am defenitly good enough to play this peice...and so are the 4 other horn players i play with...... but on the bright side i thought this a very good performance and am happy to know that someone is representing us teenagers out there!!!

AND omgoodness. you are amazing. Like seriously. I'm a horn major at college right now I've been playing for about 6 years (had to catch up with everyone else here because I'd never had lessons) but you are for sure probably much better than me by now if this was 2 years ago. Amazing performance.

dide record it with something better bad tone quality from the friking camera and make sure when you play the sixteenth note runs that you can still hear every note i could explain it better in person because your doing it awesome and when you don't have the melody make sure to back off but really awesome i just wish you were recorded better

@nikolay461 there's no soul in this music.Mozart should be perfect,but not mechanical..Ok the french horn is one of the most difficult instrument of the world and then it can't be perfect at 15yo. And he's a good french horn player..but it's not good saying it's extraordinary. And especially for him. You can always improve your level, and if he believes he's at the top it's too sad.. I was on a bad day when i said it was a poor performance,but i still find it without soul, without real music

In 40 years, I've had only one student that advanced the way you have. esmhorn is right but these virutes will come in time. You capable instructor will get you there. I usually do not offer advise on youtube since sound quality is so poor and sound is what we're most critical of. I will, however, offer you some good advise: Do not stop playing and keep it fun. You're well ahead of most and will go far.

This is not a bad performance at all, and given your age I would be very happy with that performance. You could use some work in over all dynamic contrast as was stated before, and there were some accuracy problems here and there but other than that well done.

You can tell when you were really feeling confident and supporting the tone with plenty of air. Contrast 2:28 with 5:53. the second rendition is much better and that is mostly due to air support.

Great Job. As a fellow horn player I can testify that is a difficult piece for someone so young. I have to compliment your technical skill and your tone. And I noticed the orchestra, especially the horn section blended perfectly with your tone. The only advice I can give is to do more with your dynamics. It seemed around mf the entire time. It is a mozart concerto though and that could very well be the reason. Overall, great job though.

Wonderful. You fill the horn up. Mature musical expression.  Keep playing and posting videos! Suggest you work on your new perfect intonation to make it perfect; notice you float sharp in the 3rd movement when one normally gets tired and lets up on air support.

Jeffrey, I meant to write "your near perfect intonation" in the above comment. Sorry for my imperfect writing. Your intonation is really very good. It's my opinion that "excellent intonation" is one of the main playing abilities of a professional and it is one of the easier abilities to develop; thus, an advanced player like you can move closer to playing at a professional level by making minor improvements in intonation. You are an excellent player.
