hey nitrorcx.... my buggy (exceed sunfire brushless new model) has some problems... It runs fine fine at top speed for about 15 seconds... then it slows down to medium speed for about 15 seconds also.... after that.. it just stops. i can move the steering wheel but the throttle is useless.. can u help?????

I own this car and let me tell you, it rocks. Goes 45+ brushless from nitrorcx.com and 60+ with upgrade. It goes so fast that it spins out on concrete lol . Thanks and I'll check back for ur questions. I'm also about to enter this car in an all-electric race season. Good luck and buy this car

All I did was take off the alloy upper deck then used a allen key to loosen the drive shaft then too off the back part (diff and wing) then it all came out the brace because im 11 and trust me kids they are hard to get out!!! that is how I changed a gear

okay i just wanted to point out i am very dissapointed on the spur gears they break all the time just make them medal i am very dissapointed they break sooo easy like u broke urs very bad on a brushed moror

my HSP is just like it, I got the brushless version and i replaced the gear and pinion 2 times in 6months. a replacement would be $5 pinion and $7-$12 auz

I have a rc electric buggy just like this one the parts are all the same my bro and me bought are buggies from different manufactuers. you can buy parts from different manfactuers becuase the parts are universal for these types of buggies.

Where can you get spare parts for the Exceed RC Sunfire? Are there generic parts from other manufacturers that will fit? What about aluminum or metal Main gears to avoid breakage like that shown on the video?

@kbutz1 acually i tried you cant get spare parts from other places because of Exceed being online so i just got mine from the website. and if you look up the part in the maual you type that part in as the part code and it will bring it up.

Not that long, about 10-15 minutes IF THAT but it's a starter battery. You should look forword to buying new batterys with higher MAH if not that then buy more of the same kind of batterys with around the same MAH

depends what BL are you using? i run 2 3's 4000 lipos on my BL and they last about 5-8 minutes but on my vxl it lasts 10 minutes or more and even faster!!!

hahaha! what a POS a gear change like this on a traxxas would take you 2 minutes! thats about the same as the amount of time one of their nitro engines will last before seizing up!

i have this problem with my sunfire. I turn on the car, then I turn on the radio. I am able to stear but not use the motor. It just keeps beeping and beeping. If anyone has any advice or help, I need it. Please Help!

ok here is somethin u should know exeed rc is cheap by cheap i mean it wont burn holes in your pockets i have heard exxed rc sunfires speed controls fry i thought about byin a sunfire as well but i do not want to spend 50 to 200 dollrs on speed controls i would just buy a higher quality buggy such as losi or associated brands there generally faster and wont break to easy and anycar can be a begginers car hope that helps
