Commands are simple, don't add useless stuff like "at" "the" "in",, you just "go cabin", "push grave" etc. Directions: you don't type "north", you type "n". There is also up and down (u,d).

The game time does not advance until you perform a command. The werewolf is killed with silver bullets (inside coffin at wagon) and a pistol in the attic of a house, and yes, you have to "load pistol" first.

Try old Sierra games..

In Transyvania you need to knock on the stump from what I remember. Also the wagon has silver bullets and you need to move the rocks at the rockslide to get the gun to shoot the werewolf and from there you can enter the castle

As others have said; In Mountain King you collect diamonds until the counter is at 0, then follow the music to the flame. Stand on top of it and pull down to pick it up. Also, if you shine the flashlight, sometimes you can find chests with more diamonds in them, pull down to open them. Some have bats though. Take the flame and kneel under the temple to enter, grab the crown and take it to the highest peak on the mountain without getting hit by a bat before the music stops.

in Mountain King you were supposed to find the jumpy flamey thing by paying attention to the audio, and then pinpoint with the flashlight. and then.. sit on it O_o

Mountain King wasn't an exercise in pointlessness, unlike some other games you have commented upon. It was actually a pretty challenging platformer - especially trying to control your nerves once you get that wretched crown and have to run for it.

So you never knew how Mountain King was played. Illegal copy? Or never bothered to read the manual?

Once you get the fire, go to the area fenced off with fires. Right below is the hidden entrance (a skull). Press and hold down, and it lights up - and you can climb in.

Get the crown. Run to the top of the highest mountain before the music ends. Don't touch bats, they'll steal the crown and make you start over.

Oh, and you can escape the spider web. Shake your stick up and down QUICKLY.
