This came out in 1968. Ren and Stimpy came out in 1991. I don't see any similarity, but if it's there then R&S ripped Archie off, not the other way around. And there's no disgusting behavior or creepy jokes in the Archie Show.

For some mysterious reason, I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS! I see this cartoon every night during my teenage years. Yep, all nights at 11:30 pm, when it aired on the classics block on Boomerang here at Latin America. I absolutely loved it back then in 2006, I preffer this to Shugar Shugar, maybe because I'm more familiar with the series intro... Seriously, the theme song is THE BEST! CATCHIEST THEME TUNE EVER! I might have seen the cartoon and heard the theme when I was very young - but that was LONG before I began reading Archie Comics in the 1980s, where I first knew who Archie was by name. And this is probably why I had no idea that this cartoon even existed.
