I have both Sony Vegas and Composite Lab Pro.
If you just want a fairly easy to use program and have another piece of software to do common not special fx then Composite Lab Pro is for you but if you do not want that then go for Sony Vegas Pro. Sony Vegas Pro takes more time to figure out and understand but once you know what you are doing then there is a much wider variety of things you can + do you can do normal editing on it as well unlike Composite Lab Pro.
