Back in 2000, was a hellish time to be into rock music as I recall. There was absolutely NO advertising for the stiff upper lip album in the UK and all rock music was pushed to the side to make way for the boy/girl band "music", (c)rap, dance and trance rubbish.

In the Brian Johnson era, Stiff Upper Lip is second only to Back in Black. It pisses me off that most people don't realize this. And it's sad to learn they don't even play any tunes off it now. Black Ice is great, but track for track, SUL is top shelf.

Yeah Accept is one of the most famous German heavy metal bands ever, unfortunately no longer existing. It was my very first concert, ACCEPT in Rottweil, Germany in 197?. But I don´t like their studio albums: this was a live band! Try to get the "Made in Osaka" album and listen to "Burning" or "Metal Heart". The drummer plays the "Burning" song with burning drumsticks! That was fantastic!

Actually,listen to the band called "Accept",their singer is very similar to Brian and Bon...Kind a mixed...But especially as Brian here : ) They play very stronger rock and heavy,but their idols were AC/DC!And they're good,cause they pick the best band for idols! : ) They also recorded a rejected demo of AC/DC "I'm a Rebel",that AC/DC didn't want to put on album...That track is lost and It's made with Bon Scott

The entire Stiff Upper Lip album is great! Too bad they don't play anything from it now. Even Ballbreaker isn't represented in their live show.

@PWRiley13 -- I agree. Stiff Upper Lip is easily the best album they did since Back in Black. Black Ice is great, but it pissed me off how the media treated it like their great comeback album and played down SUL like it was nothing special. Fuck that. It's top three with Back in Black and Black Ice in terms of best Brian Johnson albums. Awesome piece of work. This is a great song and it's barely top 5 on the album, in my opinion.

@bonscottboy I very much enjoy Back in Black and Flick of the Switch. As you can see from my list, I put those two as the very best Brian albums. However, Fly on the Wall and Blow Up Your Video suffer from production and iffy songwriting. Good albums, just not the best in my opinion.

I don't hear any reverb but I can hear a guy who's voice is pretty fucked up. All that touring and smoking took a toll on him.

I saw AC/DC last month and they were amazing! Brian sounds like he did in 90's! He is also in much better shape than he is here. Kick ass show!
